Proposing the creation of an article for the modern day Akwamu people
[edit]The way the article is structured, it doesn't make a distinction between the historical Akwamu state and the modern Akwamu ethnic group. Most of the sources in the article refer to the historical state. I propose an article is created for the contemporary Akwamu ethnic group titled Akwamu people akin to how we have Ashanti Empire and Asante people. Kwesi Yema (talk) 12:34, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- Update
I have created a stub page Akwamu people to represent the modern ethnic group. This way we can eliminate the confusion over links that redirect to the historical state. Please share your thoughts.Kwesi Yema (talk) 16:14, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
