SIAI-Marchetti

[edit]

THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIAI-Marchetti re-directs to this article and there is not a single mention of this prolific aircraft manufacturer or its products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Petebutt (talk) 19:40, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it's not a big enough problem to be all that obnoxious over. The SHOUTING and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make you seem like an over-exited 15 year-old fanboy. Is that what you want people to think? - BilCat (talk) 20:07, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
From reading Gunston's World Encyclopedia of Aircraft Manufacturers, 2nd Edition, It looks like SIAI-Marchetti was sold to Agusta in 1989, with the trainer designs being transfered to Aermacchi in 1992. Anyway, the best solution is for someone to write an aricle on SIAI-Marchetti, as it is without a doubt a notable company. I'm changing the redirect to Savoia-Marchetti, its immediate predecessor company, for the time being. - BilCat (talk) 20:35, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Motorcycles

[edit]

I have expanded the motorcycle section, however there is a lot more information I could provide on the racing history. Perhaps combine it into a table, didn't want to pad out this article too much as its a general company overview. Does this section need its own page? No, IMO, but other editors may disagree. --86.29.222.228 (talk) 23:15, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
