Description
English: Reed's Store, 1424 Chestnut Street, in Center City, Philadelphia. Designed by Will Price of Price & McLanahan. Completed in 1903 (dates on top of building read 1824 (left), 1904 (right)) Early use of structural concrete. "Arts and Crafts" style, uses Murcer tiles (near top around the galleries). "Reeds" legible in tiles twice just under roof. In the Broad Street Historic District, on the NRHP since 1984. Coords for this particular building are 39.951045,-75.165217
