Is the Valley really considered to be in the Bay Area??(WT-en) OldPine 18:07, 1 June 2006 (EDT)

Napa Valley is considered part of the North Bay. See the map on the California page for a breakdown of Wikivoyage's California regions. If you feel it should be classified differently let us know - everything is always subject to discussion. -- (WT-en) Ryan 18:14, 1 June 2006 (EDT)
Nah, I'm good. I think it's just that I'm from an area where the regions are smaller than big ole California. Y'know, it breaks my heart that the pages in this great area are not yet well developed. I came looking to see how the region was handled. Maybe after Cape Cod I'll come back here and relive my visit.(WT-en) OldPine 18:28, 1 June 2006 (EDT)

Rutherford and Oakville

Anyone know what these are? I know they are American Viticultural Areas, but can't determine if they are towns with their own government or villages of cities like Yountville, or neither. (WT-en) OldPine 14:43, 1 August 2006 (EDT)

Currently, the Napa County article is pathetically short and all the towns it lists are in the Napa Valley, which gave me an idea: what if we just merged and redirected Napa County into Napa Valley? Wikipedia apparently considers them the same thing, why don't we? (WT-en) PerryPlanet Talk 13:15, 13 July 2010 (EDT)

Sounds like a good plan. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 19:05, 13 July 2010 (EDT)
