Reliable sources

edit

Hello, Tane McClure. I noticed that in a recent edit summary you said:

I am adding what I currently do professionally which can be easily verified by IMDb as well as my company website: McClureFilms.com

Note that primary sources including personal webpages (see WP:RSSELF) and websites including IMDb whose content is primarily user-generated (see WP:UGC) are usually not considered reliable sources. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Andumé (talk) 03:15, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm I Am Andumé. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tané McClure, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Andumé (talk) 21:03, 14 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Tané McClure. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have been told multiple times that IMDB is not a reliable source. Please stop adding insufficiently sourced information to your article. Also, please remember to follow the policies at WP:COI, and WP:BLP. Andumé (talk) 18:35, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
