Please see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2010 May 15 for a discussion of deleting the WP:PEDO redirect/shortcut that you had applied to Wikipedia:Pedophilia. I had removed the shortcut because the term "pedo" is highly inflammatory and insulting in many parts of the world, although I am happy to believe that you applied the shortcut in good faith; it's not an unreasonable redirect, simply one that could be used in an (intentionally or unintentionally) offensive way. Would you consider allowing it to be deleted under the CSD criteria {{db-self}} rather than going through the entire deletion discussion? Risker (talk) 01:06, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for improving AXFS. You could probably see from the edit history what was going on back when I added the list of sources to the talk page. Unfortunately I've not had time to work on it since then. Could you also have a look at Green (programming language) when you have a chance? That's probably another language with same name. The one described in that wiki article have is from . doi:10.1016/j.cl.2005.07.001. {{cite journal}}: Cite journal requires |journal= (help); Missing or empty |title= (help), and the wiki page was written by the paper/language's author, User talk:Josedeoliveiraguimaraes. Ah, that makes sense. I hadn't had a chance to look at it closely as I'm currently very busy but "Object-oriented" pretty much gives it away. Moving over a redirect

Reattribution of edits

Usually, after a rename, the edits will be reattributed over a period of time, often several days for accounts with a lengthy editing history. The developers have designed the process to operate slowly since it is resource intensive. There were problems with reattribution causing site outages or failing altogether before this throttling was in place.

Rarely, the reattribution process will not complete due to bugs in MediaWiki, and will leave the contributions split between the old and new accounts. The bureaucrats have no control over this and no means to restart the process if it is stalled.

Need help reviewing my article on distributed operating system and redirecting the article on DOS to the real page

Hello guys,

There is no article on distributed operating system on Wikipedia. Searching for an article on wikipedia for distributed operating system redirects to single system image which is totally irrelavent. So I took about two months to create this article on Distributed operating systems and finally published it(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_Operating_System). But still when I search for an article on distributed operating systems I am able to get the old one(http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Distributed_operating_system&redirect=no). Can some one help me in resolving this. The only difference is lower case O in Operating and lower case S in Systems.
