Tripterygium is a genus of plants in the family Celastraceae. It includes three species of lianas or scrambling shrubs native to Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Myanmar.[1] Tripterygium wilfordii is used in Traditional Chinese medicine.
