ErceÇamurOfficial has been adding a hatnote indicating that Mendes' name follows Spanish naming conventions and that "de la Caridad" is thus a paternal last name. But her father's name is stated in the article to be Méndez (and her mother's Pérez Suárez), so it appears clear that "de la Caridad" is a middle name. Unless there's any evidence of her having had a double last name, presumably Méndez Suárez, the hatnote is simply incorrect. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:47, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
