editIs this just a by-product of being late in the third round? Most other draft picks' pages have a lot more background information, such as where they played college ball and their accomplishments during their college careers.LastCallAgain (talk) 01:30, 24 April 2010 (UTC)Mike
- I would assume that the blanks will be filled in as Steelers project members start paying attention to the page over the next few weeks. — DeeJayK (talk) 03:13, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
In the news...
editGreg Smith of KOAA in Colorado and John Breech of CBS Sports have both reported on this article within the past couple days.[1][2] Both reports said that it was changed to state that Sanders was dead[3], but neither bothered to mention that the vandalism was fixed within 10 minutes of it occuring[4]. No big deal; these are sports reporters and not investigative journalists. Breech's report indicates that Smith took a photo of the page and tweeted about it, and that Sanders, of course, was gracious enough to take it all in stride. What I find interesting is that the article was in this newsworthy state for less than 10 minutes, and yet a sports reporter managed to obtain a photograph of it. Are these guys reporting the news or creating the news? - Location (talk) 09:46, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Being able to correctly handle humor is a sign of intelligence or a lack thereof. Unfortuately, wikipedia editors on average can't handle humor, which makes me think this whole project (at least in terms of in depth coverage) will never really be as good as and certainly never be better than the great articles I once read in Britannica. 128.61.61.132 (talk) 22:16, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Stumbling upon something humorous, like an article stating that Sanders died after getting hit hard, is funny. Pretending to stumble across something humorous is lame. Understanding or not understanding the difference is a sign of intelligence... or a lack thereof. - Location (talk) 22:32, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

editPer this tweet from the Buffalo Bills, Sanders will now wear #1 (per the new jersey rules) and Trubisky will wear #10. --My Pants Metal (talk) 14:36, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
