Crosscutting

edit

I object to the sentence "he coined the term crosscutting". This term already existed before computer programming, in the logging of trees, as in crosscut saw and in cinema, as in crosscut scripting (which is a specific method of storytelling).

It would be more accurate to say "he applied the term crosscutting to programming". --Ancheta Wis (talk) 19:57, 15 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Subjective assessment of Java programmers as "impatient", should be excised

edit

In the section entitled "AspectJ compatibility and implementations" Java programmers are typecast as "impatient". The allegation has no basis and is inflammatory.

At which times can AspectJ weave?

  • compile-time weaving?
  • load-time weaving?
  • run-time weaving?
