Crosscutting
editI object to the sentence "he coined the term crosscutting". This term already existed before computer programming, in the logging of trees, as in crosscut saw and in cinema, as in crosscut scripting (which is a specific method of storytelling).
It would be more accurate to say "he applied the term crosscutting to programming". --Ancheta Wis (talk) 19:57, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Eclipse-logo.png
editThe image Image:Eclipse-logo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Subjective assessment of Java programmers as "impatient", should be excised
editIn the section entitled "AspectJ compatibility and implementations" Java programmers are typecast as "impatient". The allegation has no basis and is inflammatory.

- compile-time weaving?
- load-time weaving?
- run-time weaving?
