Merge or rename and spin-off a new article

edit

I suggest to merge this article either with Geography of Paraguay or with Gran Chaco, or rename it the "Paraguayan Chaco", as the region is known locally, adding more information such as the difference between the Upper an Lower Paraguayan Chaco. The narrower "Chaco Department" topic might have its own, shorter article. Aldo L (talk) 03:33, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree the article needs to be merged and trimmed a great deal. Much of the information is irrelevant or opinion. Manofmyth (talk) 23:14, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

The entire article needs sources Manofmyth (talk) 23:22, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Animal section

edit

I rewrote the animal section because it was very poorly written, it should sound clearer and more concise. Beefcake6412 (talk) 18:32, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ok i redid the plant section also. The sections below that still need work, I will try to get back to it later. Beefcake6412 (talk) 18:36, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Did you find any sources for the animal section? Manofmyth (talk) 22:50, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is no history section but it is mentioned in the first topic paragraph. It would be useful to have information about what happened during the war between Paraguay and Bolivia Manofmyth (talk) 23:00, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fauna section

edit

There are no sources for the fauna section Manofmyth (talk) 06:23, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Main features

edit

I attempted to rewrite the main features sections. It reads as if it is a travel brochure translated from google translate. Sources are needed as well. Manofmyth (talk) 23:13, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spiny Anteater

edit

Spiny anteater links to echidna which is obviously incorrect. I'm not sure what species of anteater should be linked though. Jubblubs (talk) 11:29, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
