Sentence regarding GM mode
editA recently-added sentence to the article says: "They also added a new thing called Skills Competition for the All Star Weekend for GM Mode and also can play when you go in game modes". No source was added, and I'm unable to find an article by searching any of the sentence's words on Google. Am I missing something here? Or is there something wrong with the wording of the sentence? Or is this just rumours? If there's no source for this sentence, I think we should remove it from the article. HeyMid (contribs) 08:22, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
PC
editThe game would not be released for PC, according to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet it's about piracy and not popular for PC like FIFA does. Egon Eagle (talk) 08:57, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- There's no definite explanation as to why EA Sports hasn't released any NHL titles for the PC since 2008. In 2009, when they confirmed that no NHL 10 game would be released for the PC or PS2, an EA Canada spokesperson stated that the reasons were "the current economic climate and the continuing decline in the sports PC market." Also, three years ago, Peter Moore cited piracy and the PC decline as a platform as the reasons. Also, the next-generation engine/version of the game has never been used on the PC. This is covered at EA Sports#Windows games. It's not worth noting this also in this article. HeyMid (contribs) 12:23, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Goalies fighting
editGoalies fight is not a "New Feature" it's a returning feature, about 10 years ago goalies were able to fight each other — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.239.18.40 (talk) 11:44, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- In fact, goalie fighting was included in the PC/PS2 game engine (the latest game with that engine is NHL 09). I've clarified that this is only new to the current game engine. HeyMid (contribs) 11:51, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Game Modes
editThis section is written in a future tense ( "will include", etc. ), and also is written like an advertisement. Dunc0029 (talk) 14:16, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Comprise/compose
editI see that the sentence now uses the correct "is composed of" (although "comprises" is equally correct), but the previous edit summary seems to suggest that "comprise" and "compose" are equivalent terms. They are two distinct words with distinct meanings and usages: The whole comprises the parts; the parts are comprised in the whole. The whole is composed of the parts, or the parts compose the whole. The construction "is comprised of" is always wrong. Grammarist has a useful elucidation of the terms.--ShelfSkewed Talk 16:49, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
