Charlton 1-1 Sheff Wed
Clinton Morrison scored within three minutes of coming off the bench to earn Sheffield Wednesday a draw at Charlton.
Bradley Wright-Phillips returned from injury to give the hosts the lead in the fourth minute by cutting in from the left to fire into the near corner.
Dale Stephens could have easily made it 2-0 but blazed over when well-placed.
Morrison's headed equaliser in the 56th minute was enough to give Wednesday their first away point of the season, while Charlton remain third.
Morrison came on for debutant striker Ryan Lowe - who had himself replaced Chris Sedgwick in the first half - just after the break.
Charlton tried to get a winner but Matthew Taylor's shot went wide just after the hour mark.
VIEWS FROM DRESSING ROOMSheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"In the first half Charlton were on top of us. I though we were better in the second half.
"If we played the game like we did in the second half, then I think we would have got a better result
"Away from home things are a lot more difficult."
