My talk page guidelines:
- Please use a ==descriptive header== and sign & date your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message.
- I'm online a few times during the day, more actively on weekends. If I'm offline, I'll reply to messages when I am online again.
- Messages posted here will be replied on this talk page unless requested otherwise. Messages I leave on your talk page should be replied there unless requested otherwise. I do this to keep conversations organized.
- Please be civil and cool when posting messages. I'm probably one of the nicest editors there is around, and I do like to help people, but please don't harass or provoke me. I won't retalliate, I'll merely revert. That being said, feel free to ask me any questions you have, just be civil, and don't personally attack other editors.
- Please note that I archive talk page posts a few times every-so-often, so if commenting on an old thread that is gone from my talk page, I have archived it. Consider starting a new thread if that happens.

Template:Main talk other
[change source]Hi. I've been working on categorizing templates. I came across this one that you created, and I'm not sure how it's used. Can you give me an idea of what it does so I can assign appropriate categories? Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 01:24, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Rights removal
[change source]In accordance with Wikipedia:Inactive administrators your rights have been removed. If you do become active again in the future you may go through a new RfA to receive them back. Thanks for your service. -DJSasso (talk) 15:43, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- You're welcome. It'll probably be a while until I'll be active again anyway. — RyanCross (talk) 05:36, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Welcome
[change source]Welcome newbie to simple English Wikipedia. :P Good to see you back. What gives? Stay active please? :P Kennedy (talk) 09:19, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- Ehh been busy, school mainly and I've been prioritizing several other things, but you can expect to find me active a decent amount now that I think I can balance some wiki into my schedule. :) Thanks for the welcome back, I hope to work with old colleagues like you again and new ones around the wiki! But It's definitely refreshing to see old faces around the wiki... or names I should say? :p — RyanCross (talk) 09:56, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
VIP
[change source]Hey there, Ryan. Just to let you know, the admins have been discussing how long to leave VIP reports on the page. One suggestion was 24 hours. At least until we come to a consensus, maybe you could leave it to the admins to clear those reports? Thanks. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Auntof6 (talk • contribs)
- No problem. :) — RyanCross (talk) 19:06, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
Beethoven Piano Sonatas
[change source]Thank you for fixing the article titles. I wasn't aware that the nicknames did not belong in the article titles. Thanks again and I'll remember for the future! Belated Congratulations on the gold star for the baseball uniform article! Oregonian2012 (talk) 20:56, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- You're welcome! This is because the popular names "Moonlight" and "Pathetique" as well as the other given names to his popular sonatas were not given directly by Beethoven, and instead their origins come from other interpreters. Therefore, these names in the main title are somewhat misleading and should be avoided.
- I also noticed you were a fan of classical music just now on your user page, and that's great, because now have a buddy to work with in that area! :) I'm considering working on Piano Sonata No. 14 (Beethoven) to get it at least up to WP:GA status for now, so any help would be appreciated!
- And thank you for the congrats! I stand tall and proud for my contributions to that article. — RyanCross (talk) 21:10, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- Stand tall and proud! You should, a great and important article for the wiki. I studied classical piano in my teens and developed a love for all classical music. I look forward to the Beethoven No. 14! Oregonian2012 (talk) 21:26, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- Indeed, very important. A highlight of one of Beethoven's most beloved and popular works must be, well, highlighted on Wikipedia! I'm an amateur classically trained pianist myself and can say say much of the same thing you said. Classical music lives on forever.
- See you around! — RyanCross (talk) 21:37, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Musical composition
[change source]Hello, Ryan! When you have a chance, do you think you could merge your new article Musical composition into our old Composition (music). Don't mind under which name you merge them, but I think they're roughly about the same thing. Thanks, Osiris (talk) 18:50, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- Done! Merged composition (music) into musical composition. Thanks for the good idea! — RyanCross (talk) 20:30, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
RfD nomination of Template:City-state
[change source]An editor has requested deletion of Template:City-state, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2020/Template:City-state and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Auntof6 (talk) 02:23, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
