Gert ridicules him, as Alberto only wrote her a letter asking for a date, which didn't even get a reply. Gert decides to call himself, pretending to be her, to set a a prank date. The mayor is jealous and asks a date too, but gets her secretary's standard refusal. The mayor and another rival however sabotage Alberto's pick up arrangements in order to take his place, disguised as the hair dresser and carrying the agreed red rose.
