Serial killer Patrice Caseneuve picks her up, discovers she's a cop and plans to drown her slowly in an abandoned pool. Kaplan's released deputy Boris Lukacs, who followed them unseen, makes Santamaria resign for her whereabouts. She had already got hold of his gun but murders Patrice in cold blood. IA guesses the truth but the whole brigade lies for her. Lyes is proud as a peacock to be promoted to the financial brigade, but his cubicle desk feels like another sidetrack.
