He sees her adoring a photograph of the auto, which she hides when she sees him coming. Being of a jealous disposition, he investigates. In the morning paper is a picture of Harold O'Dare, a well known lady killer who sells automobiles. Neely assumes that this is the picture of the other man. When O'Dare calls to give Connie a lesson in driving, Neely hears her tell him to come back later as her husband has not left for the office. Later he sees them together in the car and pursues them, made with jealous rage. He jumps into the car and fights O'Dare, causing him to lose control. The car backs into a dynamite charge and is blown to atoms, but Neely lives to be presented with the fragments of his birthday present. Written by
