It is the story of the peasant Bouazza, happy and without apparent problems, who sees his life turned upside down by an event that is stirring the whole village. Indeed, an old man who died at a respectable age, was revered as a sacred "Marabout" by the villagers led by Khali Addi, brother of the deceased endowed with a formidable sense of trade. And it is on the small plot of Bouazza that they decide to raise a sanctuary to the newly promoted saint. The drama lived by Bouazza does not disturb the life of the village, until a terrible drought occurs which affects the whole region. Bouazza becomes the target of the Angry villagers while processions are organized to demand the clemency of the sky. But apparently, everything is moving towards a happy ending. The villagers are working, those who have hoped to leave find themselves emigrated to Paris, the mausoleum is over, the rain revives the earth - Only Bouazza dispossessed his house took a nomadic life on a cart and goes straight ahead.
