Global bot requests

Global bot status for Dinamik-bot

Dinamik-bot is in use since September 2009, has made more than 17 000 edits and have local bot status in 27 wikis. I thought, that Dinamik-bot didn't have enough contribution to get a global bot status but they advised me to try to get it. My home wiki is ru-wiki, in which I have a sysop flag. In all other wikis Dinamik-bot works only with interwiki links. Dinamik 13:54, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Number of edits is fine by me. What does give me pause, is that the oldest account, per the SUL utility, is from early September. But there are already a lot of bot flags and edits look good... So, I'm leaning toward granting. Note that this process normally takes a few days to a week. So others will comment. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 01:16, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm not a steward but one of the requirements is long time operation as a bot. I don't think a month really would qualify. And normally bots that come here have in the many 10's of thousands of edits. 17,000 is pretty low. -Djsasso 19:59, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Done as 25390 edits have been much better.--Jusjih 02:38, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Bot status requests

MondalorBot@jawiki

Hello! I have requested the bot flag on ja.wikipedia more than 3 weeks ago, but the bureaucrats of this Wikipedia did not still grant / refuse this flag. I think that this discussion is too long. Bot has made about 100 edits in the main namespace. Thanks in advance, best regards, Mondalor 09:02, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Bot status is depend on local decision. Stewards cannot override their decision. The request will/should be processed in Japanese Wikipedia. Kwj2772 (msg) 10:31, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Question: if the discussion on the Japanese Wikipedia to last, for example, one year? So wait? Whatever, thank you. Mondalor 10:37, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Not done here, but Done on the Japanese Wikipedia by Kanjy. This request is withdrawn. Mondalor 04:37, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

DBpedia-Bot@meta

Hi, could you give us temporary Bot status? It is needed to create the initial subpages on meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/DBpedia/ontology User:Duesentrieb suggested this space for the DBpedia project. We will create only subpages like DBpedia/ontology/Actor and such. I will put a request for removal below, when we are done, thanksSebastianHellmann 22:36, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm afraid stewards can't help you with this, but I did move your request to the appropriate place: Meta:Requests for bot status/DBpedia-Bot. --Erwin 20:44, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Str4ndBOT@fiwikibooks

Per local decision. — str4nd 22:38, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Done. Note that the FI wikibooks crats have not made any edits this year. So it is appropriate for Stewards to step in for this case. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 03:39, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Removal of bot status

Dfergbot@astwiki

I will not be using the bot on that wiki anymore or at least in a long period of time so makes no sense to me to keep it flagged. Please remove his bot status as per operator's request. Thanks. —Dferg| 18:32, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Done. --Erwin 18:35, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
