How does the game fit the theme?
The virtual AI pet wants a lot of information about everything. Nothing can possibly go wrong by giving an AI everything it wants, right?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The 2nd "evolution" form of the pets are made using Game Character Hub, and the person model in the opening sequence is a Minecraft player model, with a custom skin made prior to the jam. Bed, door, desk and chair models made prior to the jam.

This is really cool! I love all the dialogue options (I particularly enjoyed feeding my pet fish fingers and custard) and I also appreciate that I could change the colours at the start. Great work!
we wanted to have some pop culture references where we could, it warms my heart that u got that reference. The color changing was kind of a last minute thought but i knew that it would be important to have glad you enjoyed

I have now learned about the legal system.
I really like the theme. My pet was mid-evolution during a choice and so when the choice was made it was gone for the rest of the game. I want one of those pets IRL, great submission!

I MADE EVERYONE RICH AND AI RULES THE WORLD MWAHAHA, this was a very fun and cute game!! I liked the humor aspect in some of the choices and what they feed the AI. The art was very cute!! Well DONE!!

To be fair i did doom humanity with this one so maybe my parents had a point...

This actually gave me a very somber feeling of nostalgia. As a kid I loved Digimon and therefore owned every iteration of the Digivice toy. Watching my pet evolve put a smile on my face, but just took me back to a much simpler time, which this game both reminds me of with it's visuals and sound but the end also brings me back to the present and horrible truth about the current state and use of technology. Very well done!
