Ex Falso (tag editor) → Ex Falso – While Ex falso is a well known name for the principle of explosion, most people don't link to it in title case, as it isn't a proper name. Therefore the capitalization should server as a natural dab. Aaron Liu (talk) 17:17, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- Comment - This is leaning on WP:DIFFCAPS, which I feel is adequate, however there is also the matter of long-term significance (WP:PT2). Whether one outweighs the other is outside my area of expertise, so any evidence anybody can provide will certainly help. I myself don't have a strong opinion either way but that might change as the discussion expands. ASUKITE 19:36, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose. Ex falso is a basic concept in logic, with huge long-term significance. It completely dwarves an obscure piece of software that is even tagged as potentially not notable. Dr. Vogel (talk) 19:43, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- You could also argue that Iron Maiden (pageviews) completely dwarfs Iron maiden (pageview) or, more extremely, Friendly fire (pageviews) dwarfing Friendly Fire (pageviews). However these are both literal textbook examples of WP:DIFFCAPS, so I believe DIFFCAPS takes precedence over PT. Aaron Liu (talk) 20:13, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

- Comment: My first impression here is that this could be merged to Quod Libet (software). It appears to be a minor variant of the same software, developed by the same team in the same repository. Adumbrativus (talk) 21:07, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- That would work. Dr. Vogel (talk) 22:00, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose and/or Merge DIFFCAPS says don't rely on DIFFCAPS when not clear. This isn't clear. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:09, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Where does it say that? Aaron Liu (talk) 12:39, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- "However, when renaming to a less ambiguous page name can be done without wandering from WP:CRITERIA, such renaming should be considered" ? -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:13, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- That says "consider", not "don't use this if the primary topic isn't clear" Aaron Liu (talk) 21:55, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose Page does not seem notable, so this is a moot point. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 21:41, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose, as ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ points out, Ex Falso (tag editor) is of dubious notability. I wasn't aware that pages could coexist with different capitalization when moving the page, though, so I wouldn't be opposed to Ex falso and Ex Falso as different pages -- but I lean towards merging the page for the tag editor into Quod Libet (software).
