Usage notes
[edit]- According to the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (Commission on the Filipino Language), the dessert should be spelled as haluhalo and halo-halo for mixtures in general. (Note the difference in stress in pronunciation.) In practice, the prescription is not always followed.
