Toni Stadler

[edit]

Hi Rufus, I have made a few new images from Toni Stadler's work in Duisburg (Eos) and saw your earlier images. Is there a possibility that you make a new image from the Heinrich Heine Denkmal sculpture? I think that Stadler deserves that. I also like to thank you for the beautiful images you made from Fritz Koenig works in Munich. Thanks--Gerardus (talk) 09:28, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gerardus, i know, it is a bad image, the sculpture is in a small cave and the light was not so good. I will try it again with a flash. Greetings from Munich-- Rufus46 (talk) 13:42, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Moin Rufus, das wäre schön.Grüsse--Gerardus (talk) 15:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Skulptures at the Neue Pinakothek in Munich

[edit]

Hello Rufus, Ich habe wieder etwas zu fragen. In the entrance of the Neue Pinakothek you can find a sculpture by Marino Marini. Is it possible for you to make a few images as the only image I can find is a long distance shot. I am not shure but are there more sculptures outside the building? Please let me know. By the way, due to ill health I cannot visit München my self.

Got it! On my projectpage nl.wikipedia I have an article ready: Beeldenpark van de Pinakotheken München. Waiting for the Marino Marini now. Thanks--Gerardus (talk) 20:14, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ich konnte einfach nicht warten! Artikel ist schon fertig. I have linked the article with Commons: Skulpturenpark Pinakotheken (incl. of all images I could find) in Cat:Sculpture Parks and Gardens. Sorry I could not wait. Greetings--Gerardus (talk) 11:09, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know that the article on the Skulpturenpark is not very big at all, when you make such an article for de.wikipedia with some more substance, I can translate that in Dutch for the nl. wikipedia article. What a co-operation! I had the same nice experience with Andreas Praefke from Ravensburg on the Skulpturenpark Kunsthalle Mannheim (nl. wikipedia :Beeldenpark van de Kunsthalle Mannheim). Can you make that article too for de.wikipedia? Greetings--Gerardus (talk) 06:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phillip King and others

[edit]

Hello Rufus, I still wanted to thank you for the third image you took from the Marini sculpture. The best of the three I think. And now the Phillip King. It is hardly possible to take a photograph from his objects. I have seen the one in Rotterdam, that's all. Most of his work is to be seen in expositions (temporarily, so no-fop). I know for a fact that more objects are located at the Patentamt in Munich. One of them: from my fellow countryman André Volten an object in 15 parts (Kugeln und Halbkugeln) from 1978. And as I am well informed more work from others. I dare not ask, but perhaps?? Greetings--Gerardus (talk) 07:30, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, it is always allowed to ask me, and I am thankful for your very good tips. I saw Kugeln und Halbkugeln at the European Patentamt, but there was no information about the artist, and some more sculptures. I will upload some pictures within the next days. Greetings -- Rufus46 (talk) 13:21, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here are some more sculptures at the European Patentamt in Munich:

Moin Rufus46 (bedeutet das 1946?), ein großes Dankeschön. That was more then I expected. I read something about Paolozzi but not the other two. I have nothing to offer you, so I try to compensate your kindness with more articles in nl.wikipedia about art in Munich: Kunstareal München - Haus der Kulturinstitute - Neue Pinakothek - Pinakothek der Moderne - Städtische Galerie im Lehnbachhaus - Museum Brandhorst - Türkentor - Staatliche Graphische Sammlung - Beeldenpark van de Pinakotheken.

All new articles as nobody seemes to care about Munich! Thanks to you I can illustrate the articles richly. Schöne Grüsse, Gerardus44 - --Gerardus (talk) 07:36, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Danke

[edit]

Hello Andreas and Rufus, nice to see two of my main suppliers of excellent images together here. Sorry for only asking and not delivering. Greetings--Gerardus (talk) 11:32, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eduardo Paolozzi

[edit]

Rufus, about Paolozzi I found nothing in Munich, but this sentences from his article in en.wikipedia: Quote He was a professor at the Fachhochschule in Cologne from 1977 to 1981, and later taught sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich|Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. Paolozzi was fond of Munich and many of his works and concept plans were developed in a studio he kept there, including the mosaics of the Tottenham Court Road Station in London.Unquote. Perhaps you can find something in Munich about his activities there. Christian Hinze was one of his students. Perhaps we can give that part of his life more body in the articles about him. Greetings--Gerardus (talk) 08:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
