Before moving on, a reminder that it was Bendtner who referred to himself as "one of the best strikers in the world." Here at theScore, we separate ourselves from such claims.
The 26-year-old Danish international was officially presented at Wolfsburg on Friday and will join the German club on a three-year deal.
In March, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger indicated that Bendtner's time at the Emirates Stadium was over after the player travelled to Copenhagen without permission and became embroiled in an incident where he reportedly unbuttoned his pants before whipping a taxi with his belt, rubbed himself against the car, and then threatened the driver.
But although Bendtner's time at Arsenal was marred by controversy and inconsistent playing time, he's leaving the club he joined as a youth team player with 32 goals and 136 appearances.
