Vijay 69 (2024)
Super-overacting headache
Terrible over-acting.. Especially Chunky.. was and will always be one of the worst.. Kher same old antics, contorted faces, yelling.. Of course, it's "tailored" to the Bharatiya audience, so can't blame someone trying to make a quick buck.. and allowing Chunky to get some desperate earning.. The core message is great, but why this utter waste of time if all the people involved in this venture?? Ahh.. comes back to the audience. Oh well, they got what they want (deserve). Sadly, nowadays 90% stuff from Bollywood is this same rubbish. My review could be done in 5-6:words, but I've to reach the target (pun intended).

The overacting is so irritating..!
The episodes are comedic upto a point. The overacting makes me breathless.. Just get the feel that someone felt sorry for a lot of unemployed, b-grade artists and put some masala story together. To be funny you don't have to LOOK funny just by adding soda-glasses, others talking in that exaggerating style and ultimately making a fool of yourself. Another aspect is the soundtrack. Why has there to be some "noise" at every second?? Silence is also a "sound" and can be used very effectively for comedy and suspense! Terrible. Sadly, this situation is rampant in 90% of the Bollywood shows. Maybe people like it. Keep the acting NATURAL. Like how you'd speak normally in real life. Keep unnecessary noise to the minimum. Let's hope in another 100 years the situation improves in Bharat.
Monica O My Darling (2022)
Highly convoluted!
Storyline is somewhat steady (but very familiar) in the beginning, then gets convoluted unnecessarily. Ok for one watch, but kheechaoed to make you dizzy. Why so many sub-sub-plots keeping you cross-eyed. I prefer simpler stories and straight forward plots. Suggest you to see British crime stories specifically if you want to know what I mean. No doubt, at whatever economic strata human beings are, at the core EVERYONE of us are evil. It's just that most of us simply control our urges and therefore stay safe. Once thrust into a tight spot, I'm sure you'll be surprised at yourself with the things you can do. Au revoir!!
Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)
Very average!
Nothing too impressive or new.. Te scenes look contrived. Learning kung-fu scenes were an utter waste of time. Too slapstick even for kids. Hope there will be a better storyline next time.
Chehre (2021)
Overacting, typical, predictable
Overacting by almost all. Amitabh with his weird cap, tied-up goatee looks clownish. Nothing worth really enjoying, predictable story and a rubbish ending. Avoid, if you can!
Ad Astra (2019)
Family Melodrama!
Very outlandish story. Family issues needing resolution all the way at Neptune? Nahhh..
