Dorien Wilson (The coach on Bella and the Bulldogs) and Buddy Handleson ( Newt on Bella and the Bulldogs) were both on Wendell and Vinnie.
Jerry Trainor (Vinnie) was also on other shows like iCarly, Drake & Josh, and a main voice on the animated series Tuff Puppy.
Nickelodeon makered this show as for more of a "teen audience", dealing with more risqué humor and language. Wendell and Vinnie premired in the latest Nickeloeon slot, right before Nick at Nite, eventually fully moving to Nick at Nite until it was canceled after 20 episodes.
