"Altered Perceptions" writer and Executive Producer Wayne Dees was hired by Jorge Ameer to be the publicist for "California Myth" the first theatrical release of Hollywood Independents in the mid 1990's. "California Myth", directed by Michel Katz (RIP), starred Tyrone Power Jr., John Posey. They lost touch for over 25 years. However, Wayne and Jorge reunited to collaborate on "Altered Perceptions" after Wayne watched Ameer's award winning film "The Family Tree" on Amazon Prime.
"Altered Perception" has two Academy Awards nominees, One Golden Globe Winner, one Spirit Award Winner, one Boston Society of Film Critics Award winner, one LA Film Critics Award winner and two actors who combined have performed in over nine hundred and fifty two films.
