Za chas do rassveta was shot not as modern Russian TV shows, it clearly focuses on Western cinema detectives. This is a noir movie, at least the series wants to seem to them. Obviously, all attention is focused on Konstantin Khabensky, and he is also pushed to the second role. The main role is given to Andrei Burkovsky. And this is the first miss, well, Burkovsky cannot, who has played in comedies of a dubious nature all his life, perfectly play the detective of the criminal investigation. The plot falls apart by the middle of the series. It is delayed for an extra 4-5 episodes. The series clearly lacks a budget, this is the second miss. The set looks artificial and toy. Well, by the end, all opinion about the series is ruined by an open not logical ending. Do not expect from Za chas do rassveta noir or detective story, here there is only a cheap attempt to shoot that in the heroic "American" genre without an idea.
And here, the heroes' motivation changes at such a speed that it can happen in one series.
