- TriviaAccording to director Jon Favreau, the technology in this film was portrayed as more futuristic: "After the first film, a number of tech companies talked about how uncanny a lot of our depictions of technology had turned out to be, and how many different films and videogames ended up being inspired by the imagery we used. This forced us to go a bit further into the future, and try and change the nature of this technology. If we'd just duplicated what happened in the first one, we would be behind the curve. So now we're dealing with holograms, the interface within the suit, and the suit being upgraded too."
- Goofs(at around 1h 1 min) After Rhodey lands at Edwards Air Force Base, in the wide shot both the B2 Stealth Bomber and War Machine have disappeared. This is because the Air Force wouldn't let them film the aircraft from that angle, and War Machine was eliminated to save production costs.
- Crazy creditsThere is a scene after the closing credits: Agent Coulson arrives in New Mexico and locates a crater in which lies the war hammer Mjolnir. This was a contracted version of the same scene from Thần Sấm Thor (2011).
- Alternate versionsThe mainland Chinese release obscures Vanko's nationality by reversing all Russian references on the soundtrack. For example, the word "Russia" comes out as something like "Ashar", and "Siberia" as "Ayuribias". The subtitles and the Mandarin-dubbed version simply delete these references altogether.

Something's missing
There's RDJ and his immeasurable charisma, there's Rockwell and Rourke rocking their lines, there's classy Paltrow and shallow ScarJo (bait for the horny nerds), there's good action.. and yet, something's missing. Don't get me wrong: this movie is FUN, from beginning to end. Too much talking? No way. Not enough action? Maybe, but there's plenty (2 fights, 1 'friend ruckus'). But the thread that ties it all together don't seem to be that strong (I blame it on Theroux). Anyway, go see it, you won't regret. One more thing: don't believe people telling that this movie talks way too much about the Avengers: a few bits here and there is not too much. And stay for the after-credits scene.
