- TriviaHilary Duff was first offered the part of Annie Wilson but declined the role. Shenae Grimes-Beech was then cast.
- GoofsThroughout out the series, it's clear that the actors/actresses portraying teenagers are actually in their 20s+. This is done as to not interfere with the schooling of real teenagers and to give the general viewing audience who are teenagers themselves someone they can look up to.

Just a thought...
This isn't a review...
Just wanted to say that I have not had the (dis)pleasure of seeing this re-make of 90210 (other than snippets), but maybe all the bad ratings are because Aaron Spelling, responsible for the original 90210, as well as Melrose Place, is no longer with us so he has no input on the show. I don't know, but just a thought. A shame it's so bad... Oh well, we have the original DVDs at least! It's nice to see a few of the original characters back though. I really couldn't care less about teens these days. But I think the makers of the show should go to a real highschool and actually look at what the kids are dealing with, instead of stereotyping so much.
