Been in the office too long this weekend?
Head to your nearest theater and catch Thamasha ,a fun filled family entertainer which is Written and directed by Ashraf Hamsa.
Thamasha is film which we all would love to connect and relate to.
It tells us how today's world is obsessed and dots so much on personal looks and get ups and that we really forget who
and what we really are.
Thamasha tells us about friendship and how a person tries really to find someone in his life and how he misses his chance each time due to his low self esteem .
We all had friends who helped us during our bad times ,
Thamasha too tells us about how valuable friendship is in our life.
It tell us how little things in life matter and not how people see us do.
The character of Vinay fort does tells us how he changed his perspective where in one stage of his life he was nervous and too little determined to get things done right because of his low self esteem due to his baldness to a point where he
stops caring about how bald he is or how his looks affect his social life.
Thamasha shatters stereotyping of the world against body factors such a "being too fat" or "being bald".
It tells the audience that none of the above matters and that only what we are inside does.
All in all it is a one simple, perfect and eyeopening take on body shamming.
The whole film revolved around the performance of Vinay Fort
which I must say is his career best, and also the brilliant concept of the film.
All in all you are in for a fun filled family entertainer .
Personal Rating: 4.6/5
