Starz has announced the movies and TV shows that will be available on the service in May. The Starz May 2024 schedule includes the finales of the limited series Mary & George and season three of Bmf.

On the film front, Starz is the exclusive streaming home to the latest installment in The Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which joins the Starz app this month along with several other notable titles, including Outlaw Johnny Black, Manodrome, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, Silent Night, and Nope.

Starz continues to be the home for franchise favorites with Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3, and Jaws: The Revenge, as well as Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers all joining the Starz app this month.

Spooky season is upon us and Max is getting in on the action.

New to the streamer in September are “Annabelle” (2014), “Annabelle: Creation” (2017) and “Annabelle Comes Home” (2019), as well as “The Curse of La Llorona” (2019) — all spin-offs from “The Conjuring” universe.

Other horror entries include “It” (2017), “It: Chapter Two” (2019), eight “Friday the 13th” films (from the 1980 cult classic to 1989’s “Jason Takes Manhattan”) and six “Children of the Corn” sequels.

As previously reported, over 200 episodes of AMC Networks’ television series are coming to Max in September at no additional cost to subscribers, spreading their availability beyond AMC+. The Bronx-born director/producer was also an acclaimed writer and character actor. He began work as a joke writer in the 1960s before making the jump to television where he co-created "The Odd Couple" and went on to create "Happy Days," "Laverne and Shirley," "Joanie Loves Chachi" and "Mork and Mindy" in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Also in the 1980s he made the jump to directing with "The Flamingo Kid" his first hit. It was the one-two punch of megahits "Beaches" and "Pretty Woman" that made him a household name.
