- Trivia"Tiger Cruise" is one of the only three Disney Channel original movies to bear a viewer-discretion warning at the beginning of the film. The discretion encourages family viewing so that the family watching it could talk about the movie and the events of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The other such movies were "Don't Look Under the Bed" (1999), which bore a discretion for scary images, and Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (2006), which bore one for violence.
- GoofsThe movie takes place on the USS Constellation CV-64. During the flight show, the number shows "68." That number belongs to the USS Nimitz.
- Alternate versionsThis film was originally broadcast on the Disney Channel in wide screen format; later airings were in full screen (1.33:1) only.

Featured review
I enjoyed the movie, with the exception of the "retired Marine Captain", as a Marine, I feel that Disney could have done a lot better job of getting a real Marine to play that roll, not some overweight clumsy disrespectful clod. He was an embarrassment to anyone who has ever worn the uniform.
