“Homicide Hills” comes to the U.S. as a novel treat – a light-hearted TV police series from Germany! A country not exactly renowned for humor (Google Robin Williams on that point) gives us its equivalent of charming shows like England’s “New Tricks,” France’s “Sharif” (previously reviewed here) or Canada’s “Nurdoch Mysteries.” In this case, Sophie Haas (Caroline Peters) is a tough, brash cop in Cologne who thinks she’s up for promotion. She’s right… in a way. The brass doesn’t approve of her bold tactics, seemingly irked by her gender and unmatched success rate. So they ship her off to become the chief of a sleepy German village’s force far from their turf.

Huw Higginson often plays admirable, upstanding characters but sometimes he gets more of a kick out of tackling villains.

He played more nuanced characters including the abandoned husband and father of Miranda Tapsell’s bride-to-be in Wayne Blair’s Top End Wedding; a lawyer who represents the family of a missing priest (Sam Reid) in Lingo Pictures/Foxtel’s drama Lambs of God; and a wealthy gentleman who sends his ward to boarding school in Fremantle/Foxtel’s Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Stx Entertainment is in the process of developing several Vr series through their immersive content division STXsurreal and it has been revealed that one of those projects will include a Jay and Silent Bob series from writer and director Kevin Smith. If you're a fan of Jay and Silent Bob, then you're not gonna want to miss this.
Smith will write, direct and produce the comedy series, which will star his longtime collaborator Jason Mewes. The series will be shot entirely from the perspective of Bob, and "viewers will embody the silent fanboy himself while alpha-slacker Jay leads the way through a string of idiotic adventures."
This actually sounds like it could be fun, even if you don't watch it in Vr. What do you think of this Jay and Silent Bob Vr series? Are you excited about it or do you think it's a silly idea?

“The Kiev Exchange”
A spinoff of Stx’s Mile 22 film franchise, The Kiev Exchange is a short-form, live-action series from Mile 22 director Peter Berg. Written by Umair Aleem (Extraction, 2017 Blacklist for “Kate”), The Kiev Exchange is a gritty, pulse-pounding action-thriller following the CIA’s elusive paramilitary force, Ground Branch, as they negotiate a tense and complex hostage exchange in a public square. When all hell breaks loose they must come together to fight their way out of an ambush. Berg will produce for Film 44 and Film 45, along with Mark Wahlberg, Matt Goldberg and John Logan Pierson.
“Jay and Silent Bob Vr”
Original short-form, live-action comedy series from Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy). Smith will write, direct and produce the series, which stars his longtime collaborator Jason Mewes (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy) as they revisit fan-favorite characters Jay and Silent Bob. Shot entirely from the perspective of Bob, viewers will embody the silent fanboy himself while alpha-slacker Jay leads the way through a string of idiotic adventures.
Untitled Derek Kolstad Project
From writer Derek Kolstad (The John Wick Trilogy), this original live-action short-form series, set in 1947, follows a mysterious government agent sent to investigate an aircraft crash in rural New Mexico. As he probes deeper, it becomes clear this is no ordinary incident. Kolstad is also writing STXfilms’ upcoming action-thriller Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk.

If you're not watching Jason Momoa's Netflix series Frontier, you should be! It's a really freakin' good series. I'm still in the process of watching it and I've been enjoying it. I put off watching it for awhile, but once I started I was hooked. So, it's good to learn that it's been renewed for a third season.
Season 3 is said to consist of six episodes and will premiere in 2018. If you aren't familiar with the series, Momoa stars as Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-native American outlaw campaigning to breach the fur trade.
The series was co-created by Rob and Peter Blackie and it also stars Landon Liboiron (Hemlock Grove), Alun Armstrong (New Tricks, Braveheart), Zoe Boyle (Downton Abbey, Sons of Anarchy), Jessica Matten (A Red Girl’s Reasoning), Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle) and Katie McGrath (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword).

Should Booth have the vasectomy?

Pam: No, they may decide they want more children. There are a few more years where they can or may change their minds and have another one.

Life is filled with the unexpected.
You never know what might happen next, and if you’re lucky, you just might like it.
Such as when Brennan asked Booth to get a vasectomy on Bones Season 12 Episode 3.
These two have the most interesting conversations in the car.
Booth, why are you covering yourself? I'm not going to perform the procedure myself, in a car.
Brennan Permalink: Booth, why are you covering yourself? I'm not going to perform the procedure myself, in a car. Added: January 17, 2017
Booth’s reaction was classic. Sex without the worry of having children might sound great, but the thought of what it takes to make that happen had him cowering in his car seat.
I was a little surprised that Angela equated his reaction to being Catholic. Isn't the Catholic church against any form of birth control? I assume Booth and Brennan are using something or...

This episode of Bones, titled "The Final Chapter: The New Tricks in the Old Dogs," humorously rounds out the first quarter of the final season. Each Bones couple discusses how they feel about having more babies, resulting in Brennan making an uncomfortable demand on her squeamish mate. While these three couples discuss sex as a means of procreation, the case highlights an entirely different outlook on sex as it centers on the very active and intimate romantic relationship of two octogenarians in a retirement community.
As the case is all about a retirement home community, it brings several delightful and distinguished guest stars to the small screen. Those of us who have been around for a handful of decades will appreciate the appearance of the legendary seven-time Emmy Award-winning Ed Asner, who is known best for his characterization of Lou Grant, Mary Richards' acerbic news director, on The Mary Tyler Moore Show...

The full cast for the upcoming TV series adaptation of Stephen King's The Mist has been revealed and the most notable star is Vikings actress Alyssa Sutherland.
The series will tell the story of "a foreboding mist that arrives in one small town ushering in a terrifying new reality for its residents, putting their humanity to the test." According to THR, Sutherland will play Eve Cunningham, “a wife and mother who fights to protect her teenage daughter from unknown dangers lurking both inside and outside the mist while facing down her past.”
I’m a big fan of this story. It one of my favorites that King has written and I also thought the movie directed by Frank Darabont was great, so I’m looking forward to this series and I have high hopes for it.
