Featured review
Solidly made, but the story is a bit thin.
Scotland Yard Detectives are on the hunt for an arsonist, who's latest act has cost someone's life, the only clue is a false, glass eye that was left behind.
Now I'm not too sure if Scotland Yard is a series, or if this was just a one off, I'll keep an eye out for more.
I'll start off by saying that it's a very nicely produced short, well filmed, it flows quite well, and it certainly has some atmosphere. I even liked the suspenseful music, it captured a noire vibe.
Unfortunately the story is a little light, it doesn't really go anywhere, nor does it offer much in the way of suspense, it's also a little too slow.
I did like the narration from Edgar Lustgarten, what a wonderfully characterful voice.
5/10.
