- TriviaThe project was originally started for NBC when B. Donald Grant was still head of daytime, but the network had rejected it and Grant himself moved to CBS and took the project with them, making it the third show to be part of a new daytime block on September 4, 1972, along with The Joker's Wild (1972) and The New Price Is Right (1972), the latter became one of the longest running game shows of all time.
