- There is a deleted scene in which the hood rats harassed Stanley and took his watch prior to entering his apartment building and after getting the mask from the polluted river, this explains why he punished the hoodlums and why they asked for the time, it also clarifies when Stanley's landlady asks him if he knows what time it is and he answers that he actually does not.
- Extended dialogue scenes between Stanley and Tina. Extended Tina and Dorian dialogue.
- The bathroom scene where Stanley is in the Mask was originally extended with a variety of gags as he prepares to leave to rob the bank.
- A work print version of this film can be found online. It includes the following:
- An alternative opening with the Vikings carrying a treasure trove with Loki being inside.
- Stanley talking to a female co-worker who explains that her friend's fiance left her and Stanley gives her tickets.
- Stanley giving Charlie 50 dollars to attend a nightclub.
- Stanley being bullied by the thugs who later get punished by him as the mask.
- Jim Carrey doing his own stunts without the mask on him.
- Tina confronting her ex boyfriend during a singalong.
- Tina getting a standing ovation after singing Gee Baby and thanks everyone.
- Peggy getting murdered by Dorian (available on DVD)
- The original VHS cassette includes Cartoon Network's Space Ghost announcing his interview with Jim Carrey, which is seen before the movie starts. After the movie's over, Space Ghost interviews Jim Carrey and reveals he enjoyed the film.
- The original VHS also features a Ghost Planet advertisement with sounds of spaceships beeping right after Space Ghost's interview with Jim Carrey, which is shown after the ending credits.
- The original theatrical prints for Mặt Nạ Xanh (1994) begin with the New Line Cinema logo that was used from 1987-1994 while all home video releases begin with a prototype version of what would become the New Line logo from 1995-2010 (the same logo would only be used theatrically for Wes Craven's Đêm Ác Mộng (1994).
- A edited Family version was released on DVD inside specialty marked Kellogg's cereals in Canada.
- New Line's Special Edition DVD includes two scenes that were removed from the theatrical version prior to release:
- a prologue, set in the 11th century, showing the arrival of a Viking boat to America; the Vikings come ashore, bury a chest that contains Loki's mask and then leave;
- (SPOILER) a longer version of the scene where Peggy Brandt betrays Stanley. In the theatrical version she supposedly leaves the printing plant after getting her money; the longer version shows the Masked Dorian killing her by throwing her inside the presses.
- New Line Home Video released a "Family Edited Edition" on VHS. This PG version has some obscenities and profanities removed.
