MMA fighter and martial artist Kathy Long's first leading role. Director Albert Pyun saw her in a bout in March '92 and wanted her for this film. When he asked her, she admitted she knew nothing about acting, but he felt she had a presence about her that would work well on the screen. Producers wanted a man for the role, but Pyun convinced them she would be better. They agreed, but only if she wore tight clothing that accentuated her body.
