‘Days of Our Lives’ (Dool) spoilers confirm the true identity of the mysterious “Fake Abigail” (AnnaLynn McCord). Her real name is Cat Greene. She’s the granddaughter of Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapleos) and the daughter of Catherina.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cat Greene’s Backstory Will Be Explained
It was thought that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) killed her. However, because Fake Abby couldn’t keep her identity a secret, and Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) failed his mission to go to Paris and kill Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn), so Chad’s fortune would be hers. Now, Clyde Weston (James Read) may kill their mother.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) arrived just in time before Mark could pull the trigger. Abigail, of course, stood between Mark and Chad, trying to shield him from the impending bullet.
In a current interview with Soap Opera Digest, AnnaLynn McCord admitted who Fake Abigail is and...

The horror-comedy film series Five Nights at Freddy’s is based on the popular video game of the same name. It is set in a creepy location with haunted animatronics that come to life and wreaks havoc on the night guards and other characters.
Animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy’s | Credits: Blumhouse
Despite having a modest budget, the first film, which debuted in theaters in 2023, was a big blockbuster. The estimated amount of its worldwide total box office was almost $300 million, just from a budget of only $20 million. Moreover, critical reviews were not so great. It got 32% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience was very impressed with the film. A mammoth box office hit, this is the highest-grossing film from Blumhouse, and so it goes without saying that excitement for its sequel has skyrocketed now.

‘Happy’s Place’ Review: The Great Reba McEntire Deserves So Much Better Than This Generic NBC Sitcom
I’m not even a particularly huge Reba McEntire fan, but I know that we don’t deserve Reba McEntire. We, as a society, have not done anything to be worthy of somebody who was one of the all-time great country singers, then became one of the all-time great sitcom actors, then dabbled in being an all-time great award show host and reality show panelist. In her free time, I can only assume that Reba McEntire bowls regular 300 games, prepares a perfect Beef Wellington and has constructed an entirely Nazi-free social media site composed exclusively of substantive conversations and sparkling personalities.
So when I say that Reba McEntire’s new NBC series Happy’s Place is not worthy of Reba McEntire’s talents … well … get in line, Happy’s Place.
Let’s change the unreasonable parameters, then.
As bar-set NBC sitcoms go, Happy’s Place is no Cheers, in the two episodes sent to critics.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 21, make us wonder what kind of bride – and groom – let a parent plan their wedding. We don’t mean help plan. We mean plan completely. As in not even telling the happy couple where it will be, when it is, what the theme will be, who is invited, etc… (How do you invite people without telling them where and when?) We realize this is Victor, and Victor is perfect and infallible, and everything he does he does for the good of his beloved family, so who could argue with Victor but… for reality?
Father of the Bride
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) lost their wedding venue. Victor (Eric Braeden) volunteered to help out. Which means taking over the whole thing. And Abby is totally chill with it. He is finding the place, and the food, and the music, and…...

It was good to see Casey Moss return as JJ Deveraux on the Thursday, October 17 episode of Days of Our Lives. Can you believe that it’s been two years since we last saw JJ? While his presence and participation in Chad and Fake Abby’s wedding was welcome, we can’t help but feel that one of the missing elements of this story is the absence of the Deveraux family.
The Deveraux Family Was Needed
Yes, Jack (Matthew Ashford) was involved in the beginning of this entire story. However, after Jennifer (Cady McClain) arrived and had a visceral reaction to Fake Abby (AnnaLynne McCord — find out what she learned from the late Shannen Doherty), they headed back to Boston, where they remained. Meanwhile, this is the first time JJ (Casey Moss) has been back since his sister “came back to life.”

The second season of HBO's hit series "The Last of Us" — based on the beloved video game of the same name created by Neil Druckmann and Naughty Dog — won't start airing until 2025, but fans finally got a longer look at the sophomore outing.
Before this trailer, audiences only got a tiny glimpse of season 2 of "The Last of Us" in a sizzle reel for Max that arrived back in August and showed off footage from other 2025 shows, including season 3 of "The White Lotus" and the new "Game of Thrones" spinoff "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms." That little tease prominently featured Catherine O'Hara's new character — and we don't know what her deal is quite yet — and based on the brief dialogue between her character and Joel (Pedro Pascal), fans concluded that the story will pick up shortly after the events of the season 1 finale of "The Last of Us.

After getting our first look at Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey's Joel and Ellie in The Last Of Us Season 2 a couple of weeks ago, more details are beginning to emerge about the second season of HBO's critically acclaimed videogame adaptation. In an expansive new interview with Deadline, series co-creators Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have confirmed that the next season of their post-apocalyptic show will run shorter than Season 1, comprising seven episodes compared to the first season's nine. Excitingly however, the showrunners did also tease "a significantly larger" Season 3 on the horizon, with the potential for Joel and Ellie's story to stretch further yet to a fourth season.
Explaining the decision making process behind a shorter second season, Mazin explained it's not a case of there being less narrative ground to cover adapting The Last Of Us Part II, but more. “The story material that we got from...

Speaking to Them magazine alongside her “Love Lies Bleeding” co-star Katy O’Brien, Kristen Stewart briefly reflected on making the 2020 holiday romantic comedy “Happiest Season.” Set up at Sony Pictures and released in the U.S. direct to streaming via Hulu, the Clea DuVall-directed film was widely touted as the first lesbian Christmas rom-com produced by a major Hollywood studio.
“The identity was beaten out of my goals there,” Stewart told Them about “Happiest Season.” “I was getting so many studio executive notes about my hair and my clothes. I was like, ‘You did read the script. You did hire me. What are we doing here?’ It was fucking annoying.”
“And it’s fine, because I guess there are ways that you need to shroud things for everyone to easily digest,” Stewart added. “And I’m down with that. And honestly, fucking hats off to Clea, because I don’t have the patience [to do] that.

If you haven’t taken the leap to bundle Disney+ and Hulu, it might be time. Streaming is only getting more expensive and competitive, and the enticing bundle (which also includes ESPN) might be a version of cable TV, but it’s also just cost efficient. Disney+ and Hulu are so intertwined that their monthly listing updates come in the same email — and as such, we decided to compile them here for you in the same list.
Whether you have Disney+ or Hulu, or both (and the IndieWire staff has weighed on our favorites), each has its benefits. Disney has the family-friendly titles, the Star Wars and Marvel (new episodes of “The Bad Batch” and “X-Men: 97” continue through April), while Hulu is the place to catch FX originals and network episodes. Both streamers have the rights to distribute National Geographic titles, which are well worth exploring along with the rest of the library.

Nayyar guest-stars on this Tuesday’s Night Court (NBC, 8/7c), reuniting with his Big Bang co-star Melissa Rauch, but his character is a far cry from Big Bang’s painfully awkward Raj. "Five Nights at Freddy's" is getting a sequel. As expected, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse are wasting no time in getting a sequel to last year's hit video game adaptation going. While the studio has yet to make a formal announcement, star Josh Hutcherson recently revealed that a follow-up to the horror flick is in the works as we speak, and it sounds very much like the brass wants to get the ball moving sooner rather than later.
Hutcherson recently spoke with Variety while promoting his new movie "The Beekeeper." During the conversation, he addressed the status of "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." He confirmed that the story is being worked on as we speak. "I know they're in the process right now of nailing down the story, and they want to get going as soon as possible," Hutcherson said. A new NCIS spinoff is coming to CBS. NCIS: Sydney, the first international-set entry in the NCIS franchise, follows a joint team of American NCIS agents and Australian Federal Police officers as they investigate naval crimes in one of the most contested parts of the ocean on the planet. Will the new show fill the void left by NCIS, which has had its season 21 premiere date delayed because of the Hollywood strikes? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, here’s everything you need to know about NCIS: Sydney.
What is ‘NCIS: Sydney’ about?
In NCIS: Sydney, officers from the Afp – Australia’s equivalent of the FBI – work hand-in-hand with NCIS agents as part of a multinational task force charged with keeping naval crimes in check. But working together doesn’t mean that everyone gets along, as seen in the trailer (via YouTube) when Afp sergeant...

Few horror sub-genres are as divisive as exorcism movies. For some, they are silly to the point of high camp, outrageous stories about invisible creatures that can take control of normal people and make them do outrageous things. For others, exorcism movies reveal a hidden realm of evil that has a very real impact on our world.
That tension allows a wide variety of approaches within the sub-genre, despite the dominance of one monumental film from the 70s. Exorcism movies can be ridiculous crowd-pleasers, stately dramas, or lowbrow comedies. Whether it’s because of the power of Christ or a really good script, you should feel compelled to watch these great exorcism movies.
The Exorcist (1973)
Of course, it starts with The Exorcist, directed by the late, great William Friedkin. Friedkin wasn’t writer William Peter Blatty’s first choice to direct the movie, which first went to Francis Ford Coppola and Peter Bogdanovich.

“Black Site” director Sophia Banks is hoping her new 10 million action thriller “Black Site” is the little movie that could.
“We’re not trying to be an 80 million action movie but we want to make this genre accessible for people,” Banks tells me. “It Ok to shoot an indie action movie. As long as you take people on a good ride, then that’s all we want. We just want people to have fun and go on a journey.”
In “Black Site,” Michelle Monaghan stars as Abby Trent, a CIA agent based at a top-secret black site who must hunt one of their most notorious detainees (Jason Clarke) after he escapes from his cell and goes on a killing spree.
I recently caught up with Banks and Monaghan over Zoom.
How did it all come about?
Banks: I did a couple of shorts. One premiered at Tribeca called “Proxy” that got sold to Anonymous Content.

“Ozark” fans, rejoice. The Jason Bateman and Julia Garner-starring drama series is returning to Netflix in April with a second part to its fourth season — and it’s just one of many other hotly anticipated titles coming to the streamer this month.
April will also see the long-awaited sophomore installment to “Russian Doll,” the mind-bending “Groundhog Day”-esque dramedy series starring Natasha Lyonne as a hard-partying New York City woman stuck in a brain-melting circuitous loop from hell.
For fans of capital-m mess, there’s the Spanish-language “Elite,” which traces the scandalous (and often murderous) exploits of the posh attendees of high school Las Encinas. Or, if you prefer your glamorous mess via reality series, “Selling Sunset” — about the lux real estate market in Los Angeles — is premiering its fifth season April 22.
In notable films, there’s the Judd Apatow-helmed “The Bubble,” a spoof loosely inspired by the...

Carol Speed, who lit up the screen in the cult blaxploitation film The Mack, died on Jan. 14 in Muskogee, Okla. She was 76 and her family announced her death in a statement published online, but did not specify the cause.
Speed came to filmgoer attention in the 1970s in a series of blaxploitation movies, but broke through in 1973’s The Mack, in which she played the girlfriend and head prostitute of star Max Julien, who died earlier this month. That led Speed to television roles on TV shows, including Julia and Sanford and Son.
Her other big role was in the horror film Abby in 1974, playing the title character, who is possessed by an ancient Nigerian devil known as Eshu. The film was a hit among moviegoers after its Christmas Day release. But Warner Bros. sued, claiming it stole the plot of its film The Exorcist. The litigation led to Abby being pulled from theaters,...

In a competitive situation, Disney’s Onyx Collective has landed the Mahershala Ali starrer The Plot with a series order. The eight-episode limited series, from Endeavor Content, will stream on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories.
The Plot, an adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by Jean Hanff Korelitz, whose book “You Should Have Known” was adapted into HBO’s The Undoing starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, was taken to the premium marketplace in November, sparking a bidding.
Described as a gripping cat and mouse story, The Plot centers on a struggling author Jake (Ali) who is primed to take advantage of any opportunity that might help revive his career. When a once in a lifetime opportunity presents itself, Jake commits an act of literary theft that changes his life irrevocably. Now, someone knows his secret and is threatening him…...

No one is innocent in the town of Sunrise, Maine. Everyone's secrets are bubbling to the surface!
Between Frank Kovick and Samantha Larabee's potential affair to Mary-Elizabeth Merchant hooking up with Jimmy Tinker, Sunrise looks more like a soap opera than a murder mystery. Murder in Small Town X Season 1 Episode 3 exposed more of the inner workings hidden in this quiet coastal town.
"Episode 3" was slower, but the plot added more layers to the grander mystery at large. Let's jump into the rewatch to discover the new twists.
Andy choosing Alan as the next Lifeguard wasn't surprising in the least. I called it during the rewatch for Murder in Small Town X Season 1 Episode 2 that he had a close bond with Jeff and Alan.
Plus, add in Brian for a complete majority voting bloc built in the war room.
Luckily, Alan had a clearer head in his position as he treated everyone evenly and fairly.
