There is a reason why this movie is never repeated on TV here in the UK, & the reason being is that it cuts a little to close to the bone of the reality of today's UN Agenda 2030, which would leave the billionaire liberal elite uncomfortable & squirming in their seats!
Soylent Green IS agenda 2030!
Now this movie is very good but it does have it's faults, such as being hopelessly trapped in the 70's with a Panton designed furniture overload in the posh flat. The script is shaky in places & we are not told just why humanity has come to such a pass. However there is some superb chemistry between Heston & Robinson & their interplay of their characters is really remarkable. But it's the message the movie has is simply stunning, crystal clear & VERY prophetic. Soylent (a mixture of of Soya & Lentil) is set in 2022, in NYC with a 40 million overpopulation where all the people are dressed the same & would starve if it was not for the life giving Soylent Green bars. This is a Progressive, socialist welfare state, where if the masses misbehave they are scraped off the streets by garbage disposers & tossed into the back to suffer some unseen fate. The old, the sick & the disabled are euthanised & beautiful women are used & abused by elite men. Yes this movie is a very bleak vision of the future & to a certain extent we are living these times TODAY, if we take a closer look at what is really going on, with things like population replacement, abortion & euthanasia being promoted in western countries among certain demographics. In this respect Soylent Green is not just a dystopian sci-fi movie....it's a WARNING! This warning is not about the enviroment, climate change or even social justice issues. It;s warning us to reject socialist global governance ( run by meglomanic billionaires ) & embrace our true values of freedom & liberty before it's too late...Otherwise we are doomed to live a reality that in 1973 was portrayed as faction!
EVERYONE needs to watch this movie carefully, even if it is just once. There is no foul language, some violence (which is tame compared to todays movies!) & no gratuitious sex scenes. The ending is a bit too predictable but the acting is good & it's message grabs you by the neck!
Enjoy!
