After spend five years in prison an ex-con called Jack Sparrow, the unknown Giorgo Ceroni, returns to the little town of Red Rock seeking vendetta. As he goes to a Saloon called Golden Girls where he meets the sheriff Buck , Gaspar Indio Gonzalez. Sparrow is slashed by the sheriff but he is healed by Chris, Angel Aranda. Jack Sparrow threatens the powerful men of the town, owns the busy Saloon and appoints himself a sheriff, Angel Aranda . Aranda as a tough sheriff attempts to keep peace and order , taking on Sparrow. Then there appears Bill Hackett, Miguel de la Riva, a gunfighter under orders of Sparrow who carries out a criminal spree. Later on , an innocent is framed for a crime he did not commit ,as he is wrongly accused for rape and subsequently being hung.
Middling Ravioli Chorizo Western with tarnished protagonists, poor environments, violent facing off , and silly plot. It is a below average Spaghetti, plain and simple, dragging at times with embarassing happenings. There is the usual plot about vengeance about an ex-inmate who turns an merciless avenger and taking law on his own hands. It is the commom Ravioli Tortilla Western with regular violent confrontation, outlandish antiheroes, violent facing off, Saloon brawls, exaggerated baddies and enjoyable soundtrack in Ennio Morricone style. At the end takes place habitual showdown filled with closeups of pistols and crusted faces in Sergio Leone wake. Stars the Spanish Angel Aranda who played various Peplum as Colossus of Rodes, Goliath against giants, Last days of Pompeii and Spaghettis as Arizona kid, Fedra West, The tramplers, Pistols dont argue, The crows will dig your grave. Along with Miguel de la Riva who starred several westerns for Ignacio Iquino and Alfonso Balcazar . As trivia to tell the starring Giorgo Ceroni has a known name Jack Sparrow, many years ago Johnny Depp from Pirates of Caribbean. Acceptable support cast with habitual Spanish actors as Miguel de la Riva, Gaspar Indio Gonzalez , Mario Gas , Manuel Muñiz, as well as Italian ones as Osvaldo Genezzani, Igi Villani .
At least, it has an acceptable photograhy by Jaume De Casas shot in Eslugues de Llobregat and Castelldefels, Barcelona and interior in De Paolis studios. Nice musical score by Stelvio Cipriani, icluding catching leitmotif . He had worldwide fame with Anonymous Venetian and has composed a lot of scores : Blindman, Whirlpool, The war devils , Invasion of Atomic Zombies, Taxi killer, Apocalypsis mercenaries, Luana , Angkor Camboya exress, Don Bosco, and Tentacles, as he has composed over 2oo soundtracks and still continuing his activity. The motion picture was regularly directed by Gianni Crea. He made a few films, most of them Spaghettis such as Finder killers 1971, El oeste magnifico 1972, The crow or E il terzo arrivo il corvo 1973, Seven devils on horseback 1975. He also directed some dramas as Non sparate bambini, Liberate Emmanuela , and Pe' sempre. Rating 4.5/10.
