The movie was co-produced by record exec Mike Curb and world-famous deejay Casey Kasem. Curb later became the Lieutenant Governor of California.
Bruce Dern wrote in his autobiography that he was a fan of Scott Brady, who was paid $30,000 for one day's work. "He was a good actor. I thought, God, today I get to work with Scott Brady. That was big stuff to me."
