Venetia Stevenson, a model, actress and daughter of Hollywood luminaries who appeared in films including Darby’s Rangers, Island of Lost Women and Horror Hotel after being labeled “the most photogenic girl in the world,” has died. She was 84.
Stevenson died Monday at a health care facility in Atlanta after a battle with Parkinson’s disease, her brother, actor and photographer Jeffrey Byron, told The Hollywood Reporter.
Stevenson’s parents were Robert Stevenson, the Oscar-nominated director of Mary Poppins who earlier helmed King Solomon’s Mines and Jane Eyre, and her mother was Anna Lee, who starred in How Green Was My Valley and portrayed the matriarch Lila Quartermaine for a quarter-century on General Hospital.
The screen siren was married to actor Russ Tamblyn from Valentine’s Day 1956 until their divorce in April 1957 and to Don Everly of The Everly Brothers from 1962-...

Stuart Whitman, best known for his role in the TV western series Cimarron Strip and his Oscar-nominated turn in the drama The Mark, died in his home in Montecito, California. He was 92.
According to TMZ, Whitman had been in and out of the hospital as a result of skin cancer seeping into his bloodstream. He was surrounded by family at the time of his death.

James Garner's cause of death has reportedly been revealed as a heart attack.
The actor, who passed away aged 86 earlier this month, had suffered from coronary artery disease and died from acute myocardial infarction.
The star's death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ, confirmed the reason behind his death.
Last night, cable channel TCM aired 12 of Garner's movies, starting with his early film appearance in Toward the Unknown and continuing with Grand Prix, Cash McCall, Darby's Rangers and Victor/Victoria.
Garner was known for starring as Jim Rockford in crime drama series The Rockford Files between 1974 and 1980.

The Rockford Files and Maverick actor passed away at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 86 earlier this week.
Cable channel TCM has confirmed that it will air 12 of the star's movies on Monday (July 28), starting with his early film appearance in Toward the Unknown at 6am Et.
The day will also include screenings of Grand Prix, Cash McCall, Darby's Rangers, and Victor/Victoria.

Rebel Without A Cause Star Allen Dead At 75
Actor/director Corey Allen, the last surviving castmember of James Dean's Rebel Without A Cause movie, has died just two days before his 76th birthday.
He died from natural causes in Hollywood on Sunday.
Born Alan Cohen in Cleveland, Ohio, the star began his career as an actor and landed his big break in 1955 when he starred as Dean's nemesis in the classic Nicholas Ray film. He was the last of the main Rebel Without a Cause stars to die.
Allen's other acting credits include The Night of the Hunter (1955), Darby's Rangers (1958) and The Chapman Report (1962).
He went on to establish himself as a prolific TV director and won an Emmy Award in 1984 for his work on an episode of U.S. police drama Hill Street Blues.
Allen also took charge of shows like The Rockford Files, Magnum, P.I., Murder, She Wrote, Hawaii Five-o and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
He last worked on episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in 1994.
