High Potential is making its debut on ABC. The new procedural, which flits between comedy and drama, stars Kaitlin Olson as a genius who gets hired as a police consultant after she makes a break in a case that changes the tide of the investigation. Her decision to highlight what they'd missed takes her from cleaning the precinct to helping to solve crimes with Det. Karadec who is definitely not as free spirited as Morgan nor would he bring children to a crime scene but, hey, Morgan is a single mother with three kids, where she goes they go if that's what has to happen.

In the first season of Peacemaker, Christoper Smith (John Cena) took a shot at Green Arrow, saying, “That dude goes to brony conventions dressed as the back half of Twilight Sparkle with a four-inch wide butthole drilled into the costume.” While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Green Arrow star Stephen Amell made it clear that he didn’t appreciate the cheap shot at a character he played for a decade.
“That was a little unnecessary. I didn’t f***ing appreciate that at all,” Amell said. “Between the movies and Peacemaker a little bit… our show was kind of treated like shit. I get it, we’re on the CW, I get it, it’s TV. But I also get the face that when people think about the most recent iteration of DC, they don’t think about the Snyder Cut, they think about the Arrowverse. We got crapped on for years,...

Stephen Amell has frequently spoken candidly about how he feels the Arrowverse wasn't given the respect it deserved by Warner Bros. The CW's lineup of DC TV shows was never incorporated into the Dceu and ultimately reached an unceremonious end with the cancellations of Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow.
In Peacemaker season 1, John Cena's Christopher Smith took cheap shots at several DC superheroes, including Green Arrow. Confirming he was no fan of the Emerald Archer, the former Task Force X member said, "That dude goes to brony conventions dressed as the back half of Twilight sparkling with a four-inch wide butthole drilled into the costume."
Amell made it clear he didn't appreciate the jab when the episode aired and reiterated his frustrations during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet.

The Arrowverse was truly an astounding piece of television storytelling, a daring experiment that set the standard for how to do interconnected universes on TV, and for how to bring DC heroes to the small screen in live-action. This vital part of TV history came about as superheroes were dominating the big screen and departed just as superhero media ceased to be a surefire bet.
Even today, the Arrowverse remains something special, a universe filled with shows of different tones and approaches. Before the Netflix Marvel series tried to distinguish one another with different color filters, the Arrowverse got started with the "Batman Begins"-esque "Arrow" — a show with many ups and downs, but an unquestionable legacy. After that came the silly and soapy superhero saga that is "The Flash" (which explored the multiverse years before the concept came to dominate the superhero genre), the progressive and idealistic "Supergirl," the noir-inspired "Batwoman,...

Late last year, DC Studios had announced that Walter Hamada had departed from the role of CEO while director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran had stepped into the role as co-CEOs leading the film, TV, and animation division. This was a massive change for DC Studios’ hierarchy but, at the same time, a breath of fresh air for fans of both DC Studios and DC media in general. It is no secret that DC Studios has struggled in the last five to six years to keep up with the booming cinematic superhero market despite acclaimed hits like ‘The Suicide Squad’ and ‘Wonder Woman’. Movies like ‘Man of Steel’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ were box office hits but considerably underperformed in reviews from both critics in audiences. The highly anticipated 2017 film ‘Justice League’ not only underperformed at the box office but was a certified mess, receiving only 39% on Rotten Tomatoes. It is clear that DC Studios,...

Greg Berlanti was responsible for the sprawling superhero universe that was created over at CW. While the producer did not have access to heavy hitters in the Justice League like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman, Berlanti was successful in carving out a universe that was as rich as it was diverse, with characters like The Flash, Supergirl, and Green Arrow.

Berlanti talked to IndieWire about how making these shows trained him for his next venture in CW’s superhero sandbox, which, during the interview, was Black Lightning. Given that the producer prepared a lot for Black Lightning, it was ironic that it became one of the worst-performing shows in CW’s superhero lineup.

Back in the 1890s, writer Oscar Wilde brought the world a story called The Picture of Dorian Gray – and now the Netflix streaming service has announced that they’re teaming up with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television on a new TV series called The Grays, which ComicBook.com hears will be “a contemporary take on the Oscar Wilde classic about our fascination with eternal youth set against the backdrop of the modern beauty industry.“
The Picture of Dorian Gray has the following description: Combining elements of the Gothic horror novel and decadent French fiction, the book centers on a striking premise: As Dorian Gray sinks into a life of crime and gross sensuality, his body retains perfect youth and vigor while his recently painted portrait grows day by day into a hideous record of evil, which he must keep hidden from the world.

Paramount has prevailed in a ‘bidding war’ to secure Over Asking, from Batwoman showrunner, Caroline Dries.
Paramount has come out on top in the race to secure the rights to Over Asking, an erotic thriller that is said to have sparked plenty of interest among several studios.
The script for Over Asking was written on spec by Caroline Dries, the showrunner of the now cancelled Batwoman series. Coming up with the idea and penning it without being commissioned to by a studio seems to have worked in Dries’ favour, given that Deadline is reporting that the rights to the script sparked something of a ‘bidding war’, with Paramount coming out on top.
The synopsis for the film goes as such: ‘The movie’s story focuses on the frightening aftermath that follows a chance encounter between a seemingly perfect couple and a powerful female attorney.’
It certainly sounds like a good set-up for an erotic thriller.

Fly Me to the Moon director Greg Berlanti doesn’t think of himself as a director first and foremost. He’s a storyteller with a keen sense of how he can best serve a project, be it as a producer, writer or director. In the case of Fly Me to the Moon, the New York native had been talking about working with Scarlett Johansson for some time, and the opportunity to helm a hijinks-filled romantic comedy-drama that’s set in and around the Apollo 11 Moon landing was something he couldn’t resist.
His reasoning for signing on was also the polar opposite of why he chose to direct his previous comedy-drama, Love, Simon (2018), which chronicled the coming out story of teenager Simon Spier. (The critically acclaimed hit paved the way for Hulu’s spinoff series, Love, Victor.)

The Arrowverse ended when The Flash concluded last year, though shows like Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman were cancelled without ever receiving proper endings.
On the plus side, Arrow had a fitting series finale (as did Supergirl) while Superman & Lois' characters were moved to another universe.
It all started with Green Arrow, though, and in an interview with Showrunner Whisperer, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed exactly how important the Emerald Archer's TV series was to The CW.
"Shortly after the pilot got ordered to series, Peter Roth [president of Warner Bros. TV] took us out to lunch and basically laid out for us, in incredible detail, the reality that if Arrow wasn’t a hit, there would be no more CW," he explained. "So it was the pressure of having a show and keeping the show on the air – that’s one thing – but now we also have the pressure of keeping the whole network on the air.

Netflix’s runaway hit series One Piece sets sail for the anticipated season 2. The manga adaptation became such a success that Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis, who is a vet of the film industry, has been lobbying for a role in the next season as the character Doctor Kureha. Curtis, who recently started production on Freaky Friday 2, had taken to her social media with photoshopped images of her in the role, which even got the attention of the show’s official accounts.
While fans wait for that announcement, Variety has reported on the casting of several villains in the upcoming season. The CW used to be the ideal network for soapy teen dramas, sci-fi vampires and werewolf series, and DC superhero shows.
Now, it's a disappointing shell of those days.
The Vampire Diaries premiered back in 2009 and led to two additional spinoffs, while DC's Arrow began in 2012 and also began a massive franchise.
The CW used to include soapy dramas or sci-fi series, such as Supernatural, which launched Jared Padalecki's career.
The CW has only four original series left, and Superman & Lois will air its final season in the fall.
All American and All American: Homecoming are all on the bubble, while Walker was canceled. It seems like The CW has changed its' identity, and it's not favorable.
We long to return to those glory days when The CW ruled TV fandoms.

The Arrowverse has always been a place of different possibilities no matter how bizarre they may seem. Each hero had their own standing and story to tell. While some ended on a bittersweet note, others found their footing in one way or another. Each story went down its own path with either major or minor crossovers taking place from time to time.

Stephen Amell played the role of Oliver Queen a.k.a Arrow in the CW’s Arrow. The project spawned the Arrowverse which included shows such as The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, among others. However, Amell’s Arrow was the one that started it all and has an enduring legacy as it introduced many DC characters to the mainstream.
While the show ended in 2020 after eight seasons, creator Marc Guggenheim reportedly had a different idea for the ending of the series. Guggenheim mentioned that while he always intended for Oliver Queen to die in the series, he wanted him to be a legendary presence, inspiring other vigilantes in the DC universe including Batman.

Arrow laid the foundation for a sprawling interconnected universe of DC characters, with many iconic heroes and villains from the comics making the jump to the small screen. While the series featured several members of the Suicide Squad, one crucial character from the group remained absent despite Arrow‘s eight-season tenure.
Despite being teased Harley Quinn did not appear on Arrow.
Initially, an appearance from Harley Quinn was teased in the show’s early season, but a full appearance never materialized. In an interview, actress Willa Holland, who played the titular character’s sister in Arrow, revealed that there were plans for Harley Quinn to appear, which never came to fruition. However, the character later found ground-breaking success in the Dceu.

The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths was the Arrowverse's sixth crossover event and aired across five parts from December 2019 - January 2020.
The story played out across episodes of Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, and featured plenty of fan-pleasing cameos. Those included Kevin Conroy as a live-action Batman, Brandon Routh's return as Superman, and Ezra Miller as The Flash (simpler times).
While it was made on a TV budget, Crisis on Infinite Earths received plenty of praise and delivered a much stronger take on the classic comic book story than this year's poorly-received animated movies.
Talking on his personal blog, Arrowverse architect Marc Guggenheim reflected on the event and confirmed there were once plans for the five-part story to receive a theatrical release.

Actor Grant Gustin wore the Flash suit for nine years as he starred as the titular character in The CW’s The Flash. A part of the Arrowverse series of TV shows, The Flash saw Barry Allen become the scarlet speedster after being struck by lightning in Central City. The series sees him fight various antagonists and also find the killer of his mother.
Though he was grateful for getting the opportunity to play the character, Gustin reportedly suffered while putting on the costume for the show. The Flash costume included a red one-piece suit and a face mask that covered most of his face. The actor mentioned how tough it was to get in and out of the suit and how he used to spend hours in the suit while filming.

To many Batman fans, the ultimate version of the character on the screen was the voice interpretation by the late Kevin Conroy. Conroy played Batman in numerous adaptations, but it all started with Batman: The Animated Series, arguably the best animated series in history. Conroy passed away in 2022 due to cancer and his last performance as The Dark Knight will be in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three, which is a posthumous appearance that will once again reunite Conroy’s Batman with Mark Hamill’s Joker.
Although Conroy actually got the chance to appear as a live-action version of Batman in the Batwoman episode “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two,” which was part of a major Arrowverse crossover, he was supposed to make another live-action appearance in the canceled one-season show, Gotham Knights, according to the series’ showrunners.

Love or hate the Arrowverse, there's no denying that Tom Cavanagh's performance as the Reverse-Flash was hard to find fault with. As the years passed, The Flash diluted the character by having the actor play multiple versions of "Harrison Wells." However, in the suit, Cavanagh proved himself a truly formidable villain.
His story ended in the Scarlet Speedster's series, but we can look forward to at least one final appearance from the actor in the DC Universe.
Superman & Lois will conclude with its fourth and final season later this year, and unlike Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, the show's creative team have received enough notice to craft what we hope will be a satisfying ending.
The question now is, will that ending include an appearance from Eobard Thawne?

The New Sherlock Holmes In Sherlock & Daughter Series (Picture Credit: Facebook)
Many people worldwide are waiting for an update on Sherlock Season 5. The British mystery crime series stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in the lead roles. The last season was premiered in 2017. Many have come to acceptance that there won’t be a fifth season. Well, chances are that’s true. But The CW has announced a spin-off series titled Sherlock & Daughter, which might excite the fans of the fictional detective.
As reported by Deadline, the series will have Sherlock, a young girl named Amelia, as his daughter and even Moriarty. So it’s not going to be a melodramatic father-daughter series. The premise will be about a young American girl, Amelia, arriving in London after her mother’s murder. She learns that her father is a famous detective. Big news for fans of All American and Walker!
The CW announced its spring slate of shows today, and both series will be returning to our screens sooner than expected.
All American is the CW's most-watched show, so it was no surprise that the announcement began with an update on the network's popular football drama.
The saga of star wide receiver Spencer James is set to return for its sixth season on April 1.
Today's announcement did not provide any details about the new season's plot, but it did confirm All American's status as the network’s #1 series among Adults 18-49, the most watched series on digital, and had the largest total audience across all platforms.
So yeah, execs might be even more excited about the return of All American than the show's fans are.

Stephen Amell is suiting up. The actor will lead NBC’s upcoming “Suits” spinoff, “Suits: LA,” portraying Ted Black, “a charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others.”
“Suits,” which was produced by UCP, aired on USA Network from 2011-2019, spanning nine seasons. The series, which starred Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty, re-entered the conversation in 2023 as it began streaming on Netflix, topping their charts for multiple weeks. It has surpassed 45 billion minutes streamed on Netflix and Peacock combined.
Earlier this month, the spinoff landed a pilot order at NBC, with production set to start in March in Vancouver. The new drama, created by original creator Aaron Korsch, will follow a new group led by Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who built an L.A. law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.

What was once touted as a brave, new era of streaming is starting to feel ... a little stale and familiar these days. Hot on the heels of Paramount's bizarre choice to rebrand the prestige cable network Showtime as Paramount+ with Showtime, likely made in a sweaty attempt to goose subscription numbers for a fledgling streaming service, yet another questionable decision from a major studio has come down from the highest levels. And this time, it involves sending brand-name DC movies to another streaming service.
According to a new report by Variety, Warner Bros. Discovery and Fox-owned Tubi have reached an agreement to send several DC movies and shows to the ad-supported streaming service for the new year. This means that major titles such as "The Batman," both "Wonder Woman" movies, "Aquaman," "Black Adam," "Birds of Prey," and even 2011's "Green Lantern" will join series like "Batwoman," "Gotham," and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman...
