Relationships are hard to manage but it gets even harder if one is constantly under the spotlight. Star couple Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel have been through a lot throughout their decade-long marriage.
Recent news of the singer’s arrest on charges of driving while intoxicated has put a lot of stress on his personal life. According to an inside source, Biel is allegedly likely to walk out if her husband doesn’t get it together. The singer had previously stepped out on their marriage but apologized for it. This might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back since, allegedly, his married life is barely hanging on.
Repeated fallacies: A celebrity marriage in crisis

Indian director Suman Sen (Oscar-nominated short film “The Silent Echo”) is at the 2023 Taiwan Creative Content Fest with his in-development debut feature film “Solo” (aka “Solo”).
The film will center around a story about a mundane 62-year-old diabetic insurance worker, Biplab, who is tormented by everyday trivialities. Feeling frustrated and hopeless about the community he lives in, he begins to question the government’s choice to erect a massive statue. However, his fight with a police officer inadvertently triggers a collective movement among people who share similar discontentment with their society.
Set in Kolkata, the narrative is based on Sen’s father’s real experience during a municipal election. Sen was traumatized by seeing his 70-year-old father assaulted for standing up against a rigged election and then becoming the symbol of civic society.
“The incident left a lasting scar in my mind,” said Sen. “Our father’s generation has let us down in every way,...

Britney Spears said her post-Justin Timberlake breakup interview with Diane Sawyer was a “breaking point” for her.
The pop icon recalled in her new memoir, The Woman in Me, according to The New York Times, being “devastated” by their split, which he initiated over text message. She added that she even fantasized about quitting the entertainment industry.
Spears and the ‘N Sync alum had dated for three years after initially getting together in 1999 following her tour with the boy band. Their relationship ended in 2002.
But following their split, Spears said what made it even more difficult was the media portraying her as a “harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy,” when in reality, “I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood.”
She specifically recounts seeing Timberlake’s music video “Cry Me a River” for the first time, which she described as...

Ruth Pointer was so excited to be on “The Masked Singer,” but a victory wasn’t automatic — and in the end, she had to jump off the stage, as the Pointer Sisters member was unmasked at the end of the fifth episode of Season 6, “Date Night.”
Nicole Scherzinger got it right with Ruth Pointer. Ken Jeong named Tina Turner as his pick. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Grace Jones. Robin Thicke said it was Leslie Jones.
Pointer as Cupcake sang “Finesse” by Bruno Mars. Her previous song was “Heatwave,” by Martha Reeves & the Vandellas.
“I am a hopeless romantic! I have often called myself a Black Liz Taylor,” Pointer, as Cupcake, said in her voiceover. “Because if I fall in love with a guy, I’m all in.

“The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears” was initially conceived as an “‘O.J.: Made in America’ but for Britney Spears,” taking a deep dive into the invasive and inappropriate media coverage the pop star endured throughout the 2000s, but that quickly changed, according to director Samantha Stark. “As we were reporting and researching for the film, the conservatorship really came out as a huge storyline,” Stark shares at Gold Derby’s Meet the Experts: Documentary panel (watch above).
Spears has been under a conservatorship, overseen by her father Jamie Spears, since 2008 following her very public breakdown, preventing her from making any personal, business or financial decisions on her own. Since 2019, the conservatorship has been under intense scrutiny, sparking the fan-made #FreeBritney movement, which calls for an end to the legal arrangement. In August, Spears’ court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, filed documents stating that the singer does not...

After taking a break during Super Bowl weekend, Saturday Night Live returned with Halsey pulling double duty as both host and musical guest.
The Hopeless Fountain Kingdom singer delivered a powerful, stripped-down performance of her Number One hit “Without Me.” While singing a piano ballad rendition of the track, a shocking backdrop of words including “Ashley, I Cheated in Minneapolis,” “At home in Los Angeles,” “In Austin,” “More Places I Can’t Even Remember” appeared in white letters behind her. “Without Me,” a song presumed to be about her breakup with rapper G-Eazy,...

Chinese cinemas were largely empty again over the weekend, allowing Hong Kong crime thriller “Project Gutenberg” to enjoy its third frame as the top-scoring film.
The cumulative total of the top 10 films amounted to just $41.2 million, according to data from Ent Group. That is the second lowest weekend this year.
The slump has followed new regulations that limit distributors’ ability to buy their own tickets to give the appearance of success, and that cap the fees charged by online ticketing companies. Both measures may have the effect of removing distortions and reveal data that presents a truer picture of theatrical demand.
The latest six-week slump may also reflect problems on the supply side. A growing number of commentators have identified a flow of weak films that have little novelty or particular appeal. Box office got a temporary boost at the Mid-Autumn Festival, but the score was more than 20% down on...

Hong Kong crime thriller, “Project Gutenberg” scored $37.2 million at the Chinese box office to comfortably win the under-powered second weekend of a prolonged holiday period. Zhang Yimou’s “Shadow” placed second.
For the film industry, the National Day sessions started on Sunday a week earlier, with the delayed releases of several titles. After a midweek reshuffle, those top scoring titles largely held their positions through the second weekend. A handful of new releases on Friday made little impact. The cumulative scores of all films on release over the second weekend was $96.8 million, some 20% down on the sessions last year.
“Gutenberg,” which stars Aaron Kwok and Chow Yun-fat, has headed the charts on every day since Tuesday. It now stands on a cumulative of $98.8 million after eight days.
“Shadow” has tracked solidly in second or third place throughout. It earned $17.7 million between Friday and Sunday, lifting its 8-day total to $65.5 million.

Halsey unveiled a defiant new track, “Without Me,” marking her first new solo material since her 2017 album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.
“Without Me” boasts an atmospheric blend of synths that swirl around thumping percussion. Halsey delivers a potent vocal performance – which she noted on Twitter, nods at Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” – as she sings about a partner whose spirits she helped lift, only to later be spurned. “Tell me how’s it feel sittin’ up there,” she sings, “Feeling so high but too far away to hold me...

On a pre-holiday weekend, in which new films unusually were released Sunday instead of the normal Friday, “Hello Mrs. Money” starring Celina Jade topped the Chinese box office. Zhang Yimou’s “Shadow” took the second spot.
Their first day of release gave “Mrs. Money” $16.8 million, and “Shadow” $10.4 million, according to data from Ent Group. They were followed by Hong Kong crime thriller “Project Gutenberg,” with $8.17 million.
China’s week-long National Day holiday begins Monday. For many people, Saturday was treated as an additional working day. Once the holiday period gets underway for more people, box office numbers are likely to swell.
“Money” was produced by Mahua FunAge, a company that is China’s market leader in live comedy and that made a successful transition into film with 2015’s “Goodbye Mr. Loser,” which made $218 million, 2016’s “Mr. Donkey” and last year’s sports comedy “Never Say Die.” “Never Say Die” was...

It looks like all of that "forensic analysis" was for nothing! Jenna Cooper revealed on Sept. 26 that she had proof that she didn't cheat on Bachelor in Paradise fiancé Jordan Kimball, and she was getting ready to show him the evidence. However, two days later, all signs point to a permenant breakup, and Jordan even threw a little shade. On Sept 27, Jordan took to Instagram Stories to show off his singing chops... blasting the song "Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake. If you're not familiar (how could you not be?) the song is about Justin catching his girlfriend cheating and not really caring how upset she feels when he dumps her for it. Sound like a familiar situation? It seems like despite Jenna's "facts," Jordan still doesn't believe her. (Photo Credit: Instagram) And for her part, it seems like Jenna has given up on trying to fix things with Jordan.

Justin Timberlake said a little over 10 years ago that he was bringing sexy back, and he made good on that promise at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday night. In a surprise move, the "Cry Me a River" singer and Mendes sang "What Goes Around...Comes Around" together onstage and the audience, understandably, freaked out. Timberlake posted a video of their duet on Instagram on Sunday, but on Saturday night before the show he teased Mendes' performance. "About to bring this guy on stage..." Timberlake captioned a photo of the two of them. Mendes praised Timberlake in his own Instagram upload and thanked the Nsync singer for "being such an incredible...

Carrie Underwood got ample screen time on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she sat for an interview before capping off the show with a performance of “Love Wins” from her newly released album Cry Pretty.
Rather than in Fallon’s studio, Underwood’s performance took place on an outdoor stage in Central Park, with members of the crowd waving pink glow sticks for atmospheric effect. “Love Wins,” the second single from Cry Pretty, is a quintessential Underwood belter, and she gave an urgent performance...
