A big step back from the 1st season

The first season was interesting from first to last, but the second season is suffering as if from the loss of someone who was probably the soul of the production. The 2nd season seems poorly produced with no real flow and looks like the second season of Sons of Anarchy. SOA didn't have nearly as far to fall as Animal Kingdom had, because SoA was crap from the pilot onward.

Animal Kingdom's pilot was very good and the other episodes were also good. It's just a letdown to see a series with such a good first season descend into SoA territory.
