It’s been four years since the release of the second sequel to the reboot/remake of Death Race – Death Race: Inferno – and three since the fourth film was sneakily announced by it’s writer (who also penned parts 2 and 3), Tony Giglio on Twitter, but now Death Race 4, or Death Race: Beyond Anarchy as it’s officially titled, has got a new red-band trailer and Four clips!
Not to be confused with Roger Corman’s own remake of Death Race, entitled Death Race 2050, Death Race: Beyond Anarchy sees the return of Danny Trejo as Goldberg and Frederick Koehler as Lists – both of whom appeared in Death Race 2 and Death Race: Inferno. Joining the Death Race family are Black Sails’ Zach McGowan, Christine Marzano, Danny Glover, Lorina Kamburova and a number of homegrown talent from here in the UK: Cassie Clare, Nicholas Aaron, Lucy Aarden, Julian Seager, Lee Shone, Kellie Blaise...

Even if you aren’t exactly a superfan of the Doom franchise, you have to acknowledge its place in video game history. Had you been around in the 1990’s, then odds are you played one of its earliest installments on a PC at some point. If not, then perhaps you’ve at least familiarized yourself with one of the more modern offerings, as the series remains a staple in the horror genre.
Of course, a game that’s able to boast such a great level of popularity and influence was naturally going to receive a cinematic adaptation before long. And that came in 2005 in the form of the theatrically released Doom, which starred the likes of Karl Urban and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Bruce Willis‘ last few pictures have mostly been junky, nearly straight-to-vod fare such as “Once Upon A Time In Venice,” “Marauders,” “Precious Cargo,” and “Extraction.” Basically, movies you didn’t even know existed. But “Death Wish” will see the actor hopefully back with something decent to work with as he teams up with Eli Roth on the remake of the Charles Bronson classic.

First Kill marks the third collaboration between director Steven C. Miller and Bruce Willis, but their efforts are not likely to enter the pantheon of such previous cinematic teams as Alfred Hitchcock and Jimmy Stewart or John Ford and John Wayne. Produced by the aptly named Grindstone Entertainment, the film, much like its Miller/Willis predecessors Extraction and Marauders, is strictly grindhouse level, if grindhouses still existed. Their modern-day equivalent, VOD, will be the natural home for this mediocre thriller receiving a limited theatrical release.

Bruce Willis and Hayden Christensen. Together at last.

It's called First Kill and it's directed by Steven C. Miller, the man responsible for two other straight-to-dvd Willis offerings, Marauders and Extraction. Hayden Christensen, no fan of sand, is the central star.

While Nicolas Cage is usually the example trotted out of actors taking paycheck gigs in low-rent films, I’d argue that Bruce Willis is the worst offender of starring in movies you haven’t seen or heard of. “Marauders,” “Precious Cargo,” “Extraction,” “Vice,” and “The Price” are the movies he’s made in the past few years that largely all went straight to VOD, with an obligatory (and usually tiny) theatrical release.

The stars of yesterday now are making three films a year you never knew existed until they show up on Netflix.^ Real Movie ^
In my prior life as a script reader, I certainly read a lot of bad scripts, but at times, an even more common occurrence was a script that seemed to do a great many things right, but somehow fell just short of being something you wanted to champion as a movie. As draining as the terrible scripts were, there’s something pure about clear-cut bad. It takes little effort to explain why they’re unfit.
The real challenges were the scripts that had kind of a decent premise, kind of an okay twist or two, and a lead character who wasn’t bad so much as he or she was just… there. The raw materials are there for what Could be a script. They just happen to be assembled in the least compelling way...

Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista will team up with Sylvester Stallone for Escape Plan 2, the sequel to the 2013 prison-break thriller.
Steven C. Miller, who's helmed action thrillers such as Marauders and Extraction, is directing the project, which will now be a China-u.S. co-production via Beijing-based Leomus Pictures and Emmett/Furla/Oasis. Mark Canton is also among the producers.

Want to see Nicolas Cage play another crazy character? He plays a ruthless crime lord in a new film called Arsenal, and as you'll see in this first trailer, he completely transformed himself for the role. He's not as recognizable as he usually is. The action thriller also stars John Cusack and Entourage star Adrian Grenier. It's a pretty good cast for such a mediocre looking film. Maybe it will end up being better than this trailer makes it out to be.
Arsenal tells the intertwining stories of the Lindel brothers, Mikey (Johnathon Schaech) and Jp (Grenier), who had only each other to rely on growing up. As adults, Jp found success as the owner of a construction company, while Mikey became a small-time mobster, mired in a life of petty crime. A small but significant update here. Escape Plan 2 is very much a live project, it seems.
Sylvester Stallone is set to shoot the film later this year. And now it has its director in place. Mikael Hafstrom, who helmed the first movie, won’t be back for this one. In his place will be Steven C Miller. Miller has recently directed a trio of Bruce Willis features – Extraction, Marauders and First Kill, and was also behind the camera for the recent Nicolas Cage-John Cusack flick, Arsenal.
It’s still unclear whether Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role in the follow-up. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…

Bruce Willis has been “too old for this shit” since he starred in “Die Hard” when he was 33. Steely-eyed apathy has always been his brand — he’s not giving a great performance unless it feels like he and his titanic hangover would rather be literally anywhere else on Earth. He’s not Bruce Willis because he looked like a badass when he was killing his rapist with a samurai sword in “Pulp Fiction,” he’s Bruce Willis because he pulled it off while managing to spend all of his other scenes in that movie looking like he was vaguely mad at us for encouraging his career.
Weary disinterest was his way of letting audiences know that he cared. Unfortunately for Willis, that dynamic has resulted in a dire consequence: Viewers are so attuned to his careful and considered strain of weariness that it’s blindingly obvious when he actually phones something in,...

With the upcoming action flick "Precious Cargo," we are witnessing one of two things: either the continual slide of Bruce Willis into movies that would be straight-to-dvd if his name wasn't Bruce Willis, or, the career resurrection of "Saved By The Bell" star Mark-Paul Gosselaar (who last year, had a role in "Heist," a movie starring Robert De Niro that would have been straight-to-dvd if it didn't have Robert De Niro in it). Read More: Watch: First Trailer For Actioner 'Extraction' With Bruce Willis, Gina Carano, And Kellan Lutz Directed by Max Adams, and co-starring Claire Forlani, John Brotherton, Daniel Bernhardt and Lydia Hu, "Precious Cargo" follows a thief who recruits her ex-lover, also a thief, to pull off a job for dangerous bad guy. This isn't rocket science — here's the synopsis: After a botched heist, Eddie (Bruce Willis), a murderous crime boss, hunts down the seductive thief...

When you cuff Gina Carano in zip ties, you shouldn’t expect things to end well for you. Let that be the lesson from this scene in new thriller “Extraction.” Watch the HitFix exclusive clip in the video player above. In “Extraction,” Carano (the Mma fighter-turned-actress you’ve seen in “Fast & Furious 6” and “Haywire”) stars alongside Kellan Lutz, who plays a government analyst launching an unsanctioned rescue operation for his CIA agent father (Bruce Willis) when he’s kidnapped by terrorists. “Extraction” will be released On Demand and in select theaters on Friday, December 18.

The bathroom is definitely an underrated location when it comes to fight scenes. It may not be the most ideal place for a romantic rendezvous, but if you're attacked by a lethal assassin, it's fantastic. Take this exclusive clip from the new movie Extraction (in theaters and on-demand this Friday, December 18) for example. Kellan Lutz is just finishing up his bathroom business when a frantic phone call informs him that he's now marked for assassination... just as his would-be assassin enters the space. Cue epic fight scene! That scene demonstrates exactly why bathrooms rock in action movies. You've got stalls, sinks, toilets, mirrors, water and more to play with, and this movie uses it all. In the film Lutz plays a government analyst who takes on an...

Plot: When a veteran CIA agent (Bruce Willis) is taken prisoner on a mission, his case officer son (Kellan Lutz) mounts an off-the-books rescue attempt with his ex-flame (Gina Carano) in-tow. Review: Call me crazy or least very naive, but I actually had a decent amount of hope for Extraction. It looks like the apparently immortal and forever bad ass Bruce Willis has another action movie ahead of him. Except this time, in a bit of a twist, he’s the one who needs rescuing. Check out the newly released trailer for Extraction starring John McClane himself. Well, it’s an action movie that’s for sure. What the trailer lacks in dialogue or a particularly innovative plot, it more than makes up for in punches delivered by Kellan Lutz. I can’t help but feel like this is a trailer I’ve seen about 100 times before. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing. If you’re going to make another action movie, it is a big plus to have one of the biggest genre icons in the world involved, and Die Hard star Bruce Willis ...

Exactly ten years ago, Bruce Willis toplined Florent Emilio Siri’s low-key action thrill ride Hostage, playing a high-skilled Lapd agent who helped parlay a tense situation that witnessed a group of deadly terrorists infiltrate a family home. A decade on and Willis is now on the other end of the negotiations, with today’s first trailer for Extraction revealing the actor as a CIA agent who’s been kidnapped after the agency leaves him high and dry.
And so, it’s a clandestine act that sees his son, played by Kellan Lutz, spring into action in order to save him from the terrorist group. Directed by Steven C. When his son learns there is no plan for his father to be saved, he launches his own rescue operation.

Who ever would have guessed terrorism’s fiercest opponent looks a lot like Kellan Lutz? Oh, Bruce Willis. Every so often, it looks like he might be about to give something resembling a shit, as with his “Pulp Fiction” comeback, or the excellent 2012 double-bill of “Moonrise Kingdom” and “Looper,” two of his best ever performances. But then he reverts back to the same ol’ paycheck-chasing, barely-hitting theaters rote actioners that he’s become almost synonymous in recent years. The latest is “Extraction,” which just debuted a trailer. Directed by Steven C. Miller, it sees Willis as a CIA agent kidnapped by terrorists aiming to disrupt the world’s telecommunications. When the agency abandons him, his son (played by “Twilight” actor Kellan Lutz, still getting work somehow) goes rogue in an attempt to save him. Gina Carano also figures into the cast, as do D.B. Sweeney and poker player Dan Bilzerian, so you can see the level of ambition being aimed for here. From the clip below,...

"Where are the missile codes?" Lionsgate has debuted a trailer for the action thriller Extraction from director Steven C. Miller. This movie stars Bruce Willis as a former CIA operative kidnapped by terrorists, with Kellan Lutz play his son out to find him and get him home. The cast includes Gina Carano who seems to be helping them, but maybe not; plus D.B. Sweeney, Dan Bilzerian and Olga Valentina. There's not that much action in this, and if anything it makes me want to watch the original Taken movie instead. Nothing but generic blandness here, only worth taking a look if you're a die-hard fan of this cast. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Steven C. Miller's Extraction, direct from YouTube: A former CIA operative (Bruce Willis) is kidnapped by a group of terrorist. When his son (Kellan Lutz) learns there is no plan for his father to be saved,...

Bruce Willis and Kellan Lutz make for an interesting, and rather deadly, father-son team in a new trailer for Lionsgate’s CIA thriller “Extraction.” Willis stars as Leonard Turner, an agency operative taken captive by a terror network threatening to hijack global communications systems. Lutz stars as his son Harry, on a vengeance spree to save his dad and, naturally, the entire world in the process. After a brief cameo from Instagram lothario Dan Bilzerian (explore his tasteful universe here), Mma fighter Gina Carano arrives for her first big-screen action romp since 2011’s Channing Tatum spy flick “Haywire.” Also Read: Bill Murray,...

In his 11-year career Twilight star Kellan Lutz has played Hercules and worked with Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Harrison Ford.
But he.d never experienced anything like the highs- and challenges- of collaborating with director Shane Abbess in the futuristic sci-fi thriller SFv1.
Lutz plays Sy, a former nurse who is now a drifter with a haunted past. Sy forms an unlikely alliance with Kane (Daniel MacPherson), a lieutenant who works for off-world military contractor Exor. In a race against time they set out to rescue Kane.s young daughter Indi (Teagan Croft) amid an impending global crisis precipitated by Exor.
.This is completely different from anything I.ve ever done; it has so much heart,. the Us actor tells If from the set in Sydney.
.I had never been part of a movie that was so emotional, with so much stress and trauma.

Bruce Willis recently dropped out of Woody Allen's new film because of his commitment to the upcoming Broadway take on Stephen King's Misery, but apparently he still has room on his schedule for an action movie role. Bruce Willis isn’t exactly on much of a roll lately. A run of slightly dodgy action roles and a surprise exit from Woody Allen’s latest, apparently for schedule reasons, have seemed to dominate his recent career. He’s sticking with action thrillers, though, signing on to star in Marauders alongside Dave Bautista and Christopher Meloni. Steven C. Miller, who just worked with Willis on Extraction, is attached to direct the film, which will also feature Lydia Hull, Tyler Olson, Christopher Rob Bowen and Danny A. Abeckaser in its cast. Michael Cody and Chris Sivertson wrote the script, which follows an FBI agent on the trail of a group of bank robbers who appear to be modern-day Robin Hoods, handing off their hauls to charity. As he digs deeper into the gang, he discovers that their actions are all tied to a trail of secrets leading to the powerful...
