The story of friendship that grows between a paraplegic millionaire and his man Friday who takes up the job of caring for the rich man is a true story translated on screen by Olivier Nakache & Eric Toledano who are credited with the script and Direction for the French movie "Intouchables" released in France on 2nd Nov 2011, since release date of Beautiful is 2nd Dec 2011. Guzarish (Hindi release 16Nov 2010) was a depressing tale as Jayasuriya;s character Stephen rightly puts it in the movie Beautiful.
The adaptation of the story to suite Malayalam audience and the simplicity with which the character and events are portrayed keeps the movie interesting. The actors have done a very good job. The director essentially keeps the pace of the movie and concludes the proceedings with an interesting twist. Overall a decent movie.
