Walking on Sunshine (2004 TV Short)
1/10
One of the worse short films I had ever seen.

And to think, this was the best screenplay selected out of this so-called script competition for RAP-IT-UP and BET. They seriously selected this film as the best, which is just a reflection of the miserable and unredeemable state of blacks in the motion picture business.

The story was weak. The film started off with some potential during the first three minutes. However, as the film progressed, it worsen in quality in regard to acting, directing and writing every miserable second. It was suppose to be about HIV in the black community and ended up being a farce about bubbly, ridiculous, shallow people with weak, shallow and unsubstantial objectives.

The characters were paper thin. And the acting to portray these paper thin characters was the worse thing about the entire film.

The cinematography was below average.

Just to think that this was selected as the best script for a contest that probably had hundreds of submissions. This was the best one that expresses the plight of AIDS in the black community.

One of the worse short films I had ever seen.

I give it a "F" for everything, mainly effort.
