No one in the broadcast television industry -- in the U.S. or abroad -- will doubt for an instant that Sylvester (Pat) Weaver has been its foremost creative force. He was born in Los Angeles, California, to Elenor Isabel (Dixon) and Sylvester Laflin Weaver.
